We can build a little castle fortress for everyone, with our superpowers! There's a shed annexe too, for those of us who aren't afraid to venture closer to the lake!

We could take shelter in Taniwha's underwater lair.

It's a water resistant bubble.

Hold hands and leap in; we can watch it from there!

Quackenbush is game! He wouldn't mind enduring a few drops to get to that shed. It would be a place where all can commune, and all can watch the storm.

Alas, where are all the other kitties? I'm worried about Jessie and about Samantha's gang of cats.
Where's laughing newkitty? I might try to fly in the rain and have a look.

Quackenbush feels like he needs to be a Man now....and bring the kitties to the shed.

He admires Forrest Gump because he rescued all those soldiers in Vietnam.

I’ve been astral travelling high above the clouds! I was afeared of the storm, the lightning might have singed my tail and the fat drops of water were very scary. I dont like the watermonsters that come down from the clouds. Thanks for keeping us kitties safe, Quackenbush.

Emily lights atop a tree stump, calling loudly for her friends. "QUACKKKK QUACKKKKKKKKK QUAQUAQUACCCCCKKK!" but sadly, they seem to be gone! "Where is everyone?!" she worries inwardly, while pruning a mite from her wing. She's certain she saw Jessie the night before but was that only an illusion? Has Quackenbush floated on his back to the waterfall? Is he in danger? Is Zandrian spending the day with the Taniwha? She looks around nervously. "NAIA??! !" "SAMANTHA?!" "QUACK QUACK!", she beckons.
