"In the Digital World, the geography often makes no logical sense, and random things occasionally appear for no apparent reason. Does that happen in the Pokemon world?" Oeuyia asked Laura.
Meanwhile, Karion awakened gradually and looked about blankly before deciding to climb on Angewomon's shoulder to examine the Holy Digimon's helmet.

"Well... Every once and a while, Brendan --He's the champion of the Hoenn Region-- his Groudon, Kyogre, and sometimes his Rayquaza would get really ticked off at each other, and since Kyogre can make oceans and Groudon can move continents... things get out of hand, but he would send his Raquaza after them to make them stop, and sometimes the same shenanigans start with Crystal's Dialga and Lucas's Giritina and Arceus, and every few years, some cult orginization, not unlike Team Flare, would try and end the world. Heh, it's also kinda a prophecy that they're all stoped by kids." Laura smiled. "So I guess our world is kinda crazy."

"Yes, that does sound crazy, playing with the world," Guinan commented. It reminded her of Q actually, but she did not mention him, not really wanting him to appear just then. "How are you doing, Mike?" she asked. "You and Mason handled that escape really well."

Karion quickly grew tired of investigating Angewomon's helmet, and slipped down to the floor unsteadily, wandering over to peer quizzically at Laura and Calem. Something about them suddenly made her extremely excited, and she stumbled over to Oeuyia, pointing back at Laura and Calem first, and then to herself and Angewomon with an ecstatic expression on her usually emotionless face.

"I wonder what she's trying to say?" Laura asked, with a confused look on her face.

In response to Laura's question Mike answers "Both carriers had the evacuation protocol activated, there shouldn't be anyone on them."

When Guinan asks how Mike and Mason is doing Mason says "Yeah, I'm doing OK. I'm not su sure about Mike though." Mike says "Yeah, I'm doing OK."

The spaceplane approaches the hangar bay on Nexus Station and Mason talks to someone on the station to get them docking clearance.

"Has someone from your world ever loved a Digimon?" Angewomon asked Oeuyia conversationally. Oeuyia stared at her for a moment.
"...No..." Oeuyia eventually replied, looking quite stunned.
"Well, I guess Karion is the first." Angewomon surmised with a faint smile.

"Um, Oeuyia? Why is Kairion so happy all of the sudden, if you don't mind me asking?" Laura inquired once more. Calem smiled to himself, knowing the answer.

Meanwhile, Karion seemed to be having an intense non-verbal conversation with Oeuyia, but then Oeuyia grinned cheerfully, and nodded as if to say, 'You don't need my permission.' Karion squeaked with delight as Angewomon embraced the young girl with her wings.
"You have three guesses, Laura." Oeuyia then stated cheekily. "I want to see if you can figure it out."

"Am I cute or something?" Laura asked with an embarrased giggle. "Orrr, she likes my dress!"

Calem whisperered something in her ear. "Oh." Her cheeks lit up a bright rosy color. "She's a hopless romantic, isn't she?"

"In a manner of speaking, yes, she is." Oeuyia answered blithely while Karion hugged Angewomon with a contented smile on her face.

"How could she tell that Laura was my girlfriend?" Calem asked, bewildered.

"Who knows? Maybe you could ask her." Oeuyia replied teasingly, but then added, "She has already taken her first step towards many different kinds of love, after all, and in the human concept of aging, she is only about a hundred years old. She might have outpaced you two" Oeuyia indicated Laura and Calem with a slight smile "already."

"How does one go about talking to someone who can't talk?" Laura asked.

"Only a hundred years old." Calem had a baffled look on his face. "You people confuse me so much."

"Karion can talk, but she just chooses not to. There are many ways to tell others what you are thinking besides using words." Oeuyia explained, and Karion nodded lethargically in agreement.

"Yeah, I kinow a lady, the one who was the Champion before I was, she could telepatically tell her Gaurdevoir what attacks to use, but that's because of Gaurdevoir's typing. How do you get by without ever talking?" Laura inquired. "And why doesn't she want to talk?"
