"Words are convoluted and overrated." Oeuyia answered simply. "Besides which, Karion comes from a star where no one uses words."

"Wait, a star!? Wouldn't she burn up? Or is it even a star, as in one of those?" Calem asked in astonishment, pointing out the window at the hundreds of twinkling stars.

"But how do you talk without words?" Laura squeaked in frustration. "And besides, it would be kinda helpful not to have to talk in another language when you don't want everyone to know what you're saying."

With some amusement, Guinan listened to Laura's and Calem's exchange with Oeuyia and Karion.

One of the hangars on Nexus station opens to allow the spaceplane in, they land and once the hangar pressurizes they get out. They are escorted to a wormhole chamber where Mike places the wormhole containment capsule he had been carrying with him and places it into the wormhole management machinery.

Mike folds down his helmet which surprises Mason a bit.
Mason: "Will you be going back?"
Mike: "Yep, I still have some loose ends to tie up. I detected a gravitational anomaly that I'm yet to check out and I still have a rouge wormhole to locate. Not to mention, I left the wormhole in orbit and they will need someone who knows how to land a space-plane."
Mason: "OK, I'll see you later then. Be careful out there." He walks out of the wormhole chamber and reapears behind a large window where there are controls for the wormhole. Mike turns to everyone else, "Since the wormhole is in space we will need to depressurize this room, if you have a spacesuit on then fold down the helmet and if you don't then there are some on the wall over there." he says, gesturing to a suit rack on the wall.

I made a drawing of a scene from another role playing game that I'm dong with my friend:



The dragon characters are my friend's OCs and the two human characters riding on the big dragon are Lindsey Quinn and of course Michael Watt. I made it because of everyone's reactions. Mike is of course freaking out 'cause DovahYol (the large dragon) decided to do a dive and barrel roll for fum to mess with him, but Lindsey is enjoying it. Vulcain (the small dragon on DovahYol's back) is clearly enjoying it as well, but none as much as Dovah with his evil grin.

"Bye!" Laura chirped as Mason walked out of the room, flipping her helment up and Calem doing the same.

I hope I don't look silly with this thing on my head... Laura thought.

(Speaking of drawings, did you see the one I did of Mike? )

(OOC: Dealing with logistics, I'm assuming that Mike showed everyone how to refill their oxygen supplies? If I recall, they have none.)

Guinan looked at Mike and Mason thoughtfully for a moment, then spoke up hesitantly. "Glad we could help. One request: if we're going to be in space for a bit, then, do you think the station might be able to spare some food for us after what's happened? Or are most of those supplies destroyed?"

Mike takes an air tube from the wall and hooks it up to the small life support pack until the pressure meter went up to 100%. "I just remembered, you should probably all fill up your oxygen. It's probably still quite low."

Mason hears the conversation through the comm link. "This station should still have plenty of food and one of the two greenhouse modules is still operational I believe, we also have systems to artificially grow meat so we got lots of that too. I suppose we do owe you a big one after your help with taking back the station, so how much food do you think you need?"

A happy, relived look crossed Laura's face, folding her helmet back. "Oh, thank you so much! I was really hungry."

(OOC: So now I guess they return to their previous objective of trying to locate Lily's wormhole, and Lillikoi would have to make a decision about whether or not she wants Lily to go home, right? So all of that would determine how long they'll have to stay in space, and possibly how much food they'd need.

Hmm, I feel like Guinan would know the answer to this: how would you quantify food universally, when you don't actually know what the food is?)

"How many pokemon do we have?" Guinan asked Laura. "Except for Foxy,my pokemon won't eat that much. ... Mike, how long do you think we'll need to stay in space?"

"Both me and Calem have six Pokemon each. But that's okay, I always keep about a gazillion Pokepuffs with me." She said with a giant grin. "So I have enough for all of the Pokemon."

"You still have all those pokepuffs with you?" Guinan asked in surprise. "Should we still get food for my pokemon, oh, did Jian take all her pokemon? How about Lily's and Grissle's pokemon?"

"Well, duh! I never leave the house without a fresh batch." She smiled, fighting the urge to giggle at how much she suprised Gunnian with her surrealism.

"Wait, you mean the... Gaurdevoir, Gallade, Lucario and Skitty?" Those... were Eyne's, but I geuss they're Jian's now." She said sadly.

Guinan laughed. "If I had known you were giving pokepuffs away, I might've asked you for one or two so I wouldn't've had to give up my food for the pokemon today."

Laura exited the wormhole chamber, and pulled a folded up mint green picnic blanket with a cute Vanillite and Swirlix pattern on it out of her purse, unfolded it, and tossed it up in the air, with it gently floating down onto the ground, landing flat. She also took out a pastel pink, purple, and blue plastic box decorated with puffy paint and sparkly silver stickers, which, under normal circumstances, would be way to big to even fit in there. She grinned cheekily at everyone staring at her in amazement. "I've also got soda and lemonade!"

Calem rolled his eyes, not seeming suprised at all, though he had a fond smile on his face. This definitely does seem like something she'd do, throwing a picnic party in space of all places...

Guinan laughed again. "Now we just need the sandwiches and the picnic would be complete. Seriously, should we do this here on the station, since otherwise, we'll have to eat and feed our pokemon in zero-g back on the spaceplane?"

"I think it would be easier to do this here because Hatsune is the one who gets to come out of her ball the least because she's so tall, and her antlers... And the ceiling on the spaceplane is really low, and, well..." she looked up. "This isn't that much better, but she can just lay down and not turn her head."
