Trigger hates me because I called him a redneck by mistake. I'm from Texas BTW.

 How do you call someone a redneck by mistake?

Don't mess with Texas, eh?

He brought up some southern university in the word association game, I bought up one of my favorite comedians: Jeff Foxworthy. Also he's offended that I'm an open Christian too, but I think the redneck thing is moreso the problem.

ARGH! That guy irritates me! "Oh woe is me, I throw scripture in people's faces telling them who their true God is, but then they get mad at me." I was soooo polite to him for several weeks...quietly suggesting not to be so blunt and he declared himself a martyr. A martyr? Really? UGH!

In the Word Association game he used a word that happened to be the name of the Poetry publication from one of my alma maters, UVa. So I stated that and he called it a redneck, blah, blah, blah... or whatever. How was I supposed to take that? I ultimately ignored him, but how was that not intended to be a rag on me, knowing that was one of my schools? He needs to grow up.

I did not bring up a "southern" university. UVa. is anything but "southern" and is the #1 rated public university in the country. I am an alum and take pride in that fact. I do not know why you put down UVa. like that, other than to attack me, but I ignored the comment. I certainly could not figure out how my previous words in the thread could have been construed as an attack to you. But I digress.

I was not aware you called me redneck. Seeing as how I hate rednecks...I mean true rednecks...as in the gun & bible toting, racist bastards I live near who think the south won the Civil War, slavery should be brought back, and the KKK should be publicly funded...that truly is a low blow.

If open religion to you means putting down my friends who are not heterosexual, not of your religion, etc., then I suppose so. For weeks I let it go, only suggesting you take such talk elsewhere. You are nearsighted and clueless. I find you sad and pathetic. If you knew of some of the discussions I have had with other people, you would realize how wrong your perception of me is and how unfounded your assumptions are. Which is why I say:  !

My   post was nothing more than I could not see your picture and thought talking about killing an already dead horse was evil and so I cried.

With that I say  !

Corruption is rife, and it will take alot of work to cut down to a bare minimum.

Yes, but it needs to be cracked down upon. It will always exist, but high level corruption should be very minimal. Pay politicians and senior civil servants well, and introduce a powerful anti-corruption committee.

I concur.

Though I think that if a person in a high place in a government is getting paid a lot. He's going to want more...and more...and so on and so forth.

But, I quess that's where the anti-corruption commitee comes in.

EDIT: W00t. First person to post on this page.
