Granted. The Hiccup Fairy appears and gets rid of your hiccups, but they come back a few minutes later.

I wish people would quiet down when I'm trying to take a nap.

Granted....they have all been abducted by a UFO.

I wish for a cold, overcast day. Today.

Granted.
A monsoon is on its way to the city and you are set for several cold days with plenty of overcast.

I wish I wasnt so tired lately

Granted, you're not tired anymore and you become an insomniac.

I wish money could grow on trees.

Granted: Money now grows on trees... as a fungal infection which destroys the tree and any of its produce.

I wish life didn't contain so many paradoxical and conflicting choices.

Granted. Now you find that everywhere you go some animal wants to debate the existence of their preferred deity, most of which are animals too.

I wish I could trade my husband for ten tubs of Sara Lee's Salted Caramel and Choc coated hazelnut ice cream and a new coffee machine.

Granted, You buy your husband a billion dollar lottery ticket with the last of your pocket change in exchange for a massage from him, fair trade,, Then he wins the lottery with that ticket and then decides to divorce you over it. But in compensation he gives you all that ice-cream, and coffee maker too, and thats all you get.

I wish people would put more thought into how to honer yet corrupt other peoples wishes on here.
It gets kind of dull when people just declare a wish corrupted without granting anything of it nor that of giving it much thought.
(I used to Dungeon Master allot in the old pen and paper days, I had fun corrupting the players wishes when they were not worded right)

Wish granted, people put more thought into their replies in the Corrupt A Wish thread; however, it also takes a long time for anyone to reply to the thread, so people stop playing Corrupt A Wish.


I wish that my town would get rid of the big outdoor speakers everywhere that blare country music.

Oh my Gwd that would be so annoying.,

Granted, someone comes along and kills the music, rips out the old speakers and replaces them with new modern ones, and changes the music played to hard core Grateful-dead music, that plays even though out the nights, all day every day all year. (I could live with that )

I didnt have to make one, a loud speaker playing grateful dead music all day was perfect.

I wish I could grow new teeth.

Granted. Nice, sharp, long ones that frequently fall out when you eat some foods, but don't worry, they keep growing back.

I wish I could afford to fix my stove so that I could cook something nice.

Granted. You've won a brand new stove in a contest. Everyone else's stoves broke down just as yours got replaced and they need to come over to use it. Your house is constantly full of strangers and you never even got to use that new stove of yours.

I wish my lips weren't always so chapped.
