I have been cleaning my quarters, preening my feathers, and organizing the Psittacorian BattleFleet around Earth. So, what's new?

There's a large conflict with aliens on a remote desert world. Considering withdrawal after losing 1000 troops in just one day. The buggers are well camoflauged and hidden.

What's been happening to me: The 85th Albaren was pushed back by Orks last night. Casualties have been heavy.

The Imperial Guard forces on this planet will be launching a huge planetwide assault. Hopefully this will result in the Imperial Guard being victorius, and the xenos scum the losers in this engagement.

Although I haven't played the game you're talking about, I find it easier to get defeated if you spread your forces out. Unless you have mini-concentrated groups with heavy firepower Hope you win!

It's just the the enemy (Orks) computer player rushes early. And they have many soliders per unit and are more awesome in close combat. Me sucking at RTS's probably plays a part in it too.

But the actuall tabletop game? There's no one around to fight against. (That lives near me.) And I couldn't participate in any battles in the first place. I only have 1 troop choice for Imperial Guard and Space Marines.

The miniatures are too d*** expensive.

That's Warhammer 40K? Ever play C & C? For board games, my favorite strategy games are Chess and Stratego. What are yours?

I have CnC the first decade somewhere. They are very good games.

I also have CnC 3.

Cool, haven't played CNC3 yet, maybe when I have something other than a laptop. Job might help too. I'm studying electronics on my own so I can become a technician. I tried to join the Army and the Air Force, I got 96% on the ASVAB, but Asperger's disqualified me they said. What job do you do/ plan to do?

Would you ever like to play Chess, you know the board coordinates right? A-H, horizontal; 1-8, vertical from White perspective.

Yeah, I know the coordinates. However I am a chess noob. I'm new (I learned, but no one to play against so skills don't get better, and people I did play against gloated and stuff making me not want to play chess against them) and hope to improve my skills so I can be better.

I also wish my high school had a chess club. But they don't.

EDIT: I wish to be a computer engineer after I graduate college (if I go to college) and maybe somwhere along the line join the Navy (this has nothing to do with my username that was all I could think of at the time) but I probably won't be able to now since I have AS.

I learned how to play from my dad when he was alive. He was really nice about it and warned me about mistakes I was about to make, his strategy so I could counter it, and let me take back moves and try to do better. I usually beat rookies, but am no good against advanced players. I'm kinda at the rookie/intermediate level and I usually play for fun although I look a couple moves into the future to give a chalenge.

Do you mean someone who designs computer hardware or a computer programmer or is a computer engineer something different? Navy probably not. I plan on Tech school next year, I don't really have too many options though. CVS Pharmacy offers a scholarship of $1000 for autistic students, don't know if AS quals though.

My oldest tells me she hates me all the time. My son is back and forth depending on if I let him do what he wants, usually revolving around playing lightsabers. The baby like to play sound games with me, but only says "Dadda", "All Done", and "Nooooo", while shaking her head.

As for Anubis, seriously...I ain't illing over here. I don't think you intended to hurt Kilroy, but understand you did. Learn from it and move on. I thought it was funny, outside of Kilroy, because I really did not like that chick. I never had anything against you. Kim is right and I probably should not have brought it up over here, but I didn't think it was that big a deal.
