"Yes, yes, go ahead." Oeuyia muttered, looking quite distracted and concerned for Karion.
"Hey, Karion, is something wrong? May I help?" Tailmon asked softly, climbing off of Karion's head so she could look the little girl in the face.

Laura was genuinely shocked at Oeuyia, who was normally soft spoken, raise her voice at her. She suddenly felt a hand on her shoulder. "She's right." Calem said.

All of the prize money she got over winning battles was more than enough to get her and her mom out of their tight spot money-wise that they had gotten into after paying for all of her medical bills and their sudden move to Kalos, which made her feel less like a spoiled rich girl, but after seeing Emma being taken in from the streets after six years, and how raggedy her clothes were, she felt really bad and went to take her shopping for a new outfit the first chance she got, but it made her feel even worse at how happy she was over sutch a simple thing to her.

"I... don't know what to say... just, thanks for the compliment." She said.

Lilli suddenly looked self-conscious at what Oeuyia said. They looked away uneasily, not wanting to look at Oeuyia.

Just then, they unlocked their phone, and a red pop-up appeared.

...Fifty missed calls.
...Sixty unread texts.

Lilli shut the phone and stuffed it in their pocket.

As Lilli looked at their phone, that reminded him that he should probably check his Holo Caster.

He had about 70 missed calls, and 90 texts from diffrent members of the group, but mostly from Shauna. He suspected Laura had just as many. "Alright how am I even getting reception here?" He asked himself as he got yet another one, this time from Tierno. He looked at Laura, who gave a nod.

He answered, causing a small hologram of their stout friend looking at him wide eyed. Tierno turned his head. "Guys, come check this out! Cal actually answered!" At that statement, four others crowded around him.

"Where even are you?" Shauna fumed squeakily.

"Uh.." he adverted his eyes from the camera, not sure what to say.

Mike calls Captain Charlie Plank and asks "Do you happen to have a hologram belt lying around? I'll give you 80 credits for it." He replies, "Yeah, I do. Seems fair, you can send Sam over here to get it and transfer the credits remotely." Mike ends the call and says to Sam "Well, you heard him" and with that Sam flies off. He comes back later with a rather high-tech looking belt and hands it to Mike. Mike hands it to Oeuyia and says "Put this on, I'll connect to it remotely and make it work."

"What about Kairion? Won't she need one?" Laura asked, looking up from the uncomfotable staring contest she was having with her friends.

"And who in Arceus's name is Kairion?" Trevs asked. Laura sighed. "Hey, Kairion, could you pretty please come here for a sec?" She called.

"My magic will protect Karion and Tailmon, do not worry." Oeuyia assured her.
"Ah ah." Karion obligingly stumbled over to Laura and stared innocently into the Holo Caster.

Suddenly Kiki looked like they were struck with a brilliant moment of inspiration.
"Just out of curiosity, what would happen if we didn't wear our helmets..?" they edged with a musing smile.

Meanwhile, Lilli stumbled over curiously to where Laura was standing. "Wai-wai-wai-wai-wai-wai-whoa, wait."

They looked at the Holo Caster for a moment and blinked.
"...Is that a HOLOGRAM?!" they asked in amazement.

Laura tilted the camera up slightly so they wouldn't see that Kairion wasn't wearing any clothes. "This cutie is Kairion!" She introduced.

"Isn't that a Tailmon sitting on her head, or is that just a plushie?" Shauna asked.

Calem glared at Lilli when they made their comment. "Yes... yes that is a real Tailmon." Laura said timidly.

Lilli looked very offended.
"Yo, just asking..." their voice wavered.

"I don't know why you have to be so mean, just asking a question..." they grumbled under their breath.

Why did it seem like every time they asked a question, people greeted them with hostility?
Maybe they just shouldn't talk at all... Lilli thought bitterly.

Lilli looked away so Calem couldn't see the moisture welling up in their eyes. They felt the anguish welling up in their chest and they wanted to let it all out and they felt incredibly stupid.

Wait wait wait, what?
Lilli blinked in shock as they felt a tear running down their face.
...Why were they crying now? they thought angrily. They didn't want to cry in front of their friends...

They felt one of the drops well over and trickle freely down their face. Now is a stupid time to cry. Idiot.. they scolded themselves.

They felt even more ashamed as they felt the tears flowing freely down their face, drip-drip-drip... No way for them take it back.
God they were so stupid, crying over something as tiny as that...
They wanted to go die and crawl into a hole.

Why did they do this all the time?
Everything set them off like this, and it was so embarassing...
God, I'm so stupid. they thought.

Guinan listened silently until Kiki mentioned space travel without a helmet. "You might die. Space is cold and airless, so don't try it," she said calmly, just in case Kiki was serious.

Guinan wondered how the holocaster was working, though she figured just about anything was possible when Q and the magic-users were involved.

When Lily started to cry, Guinan kept silent for the moment, waiting to see how Lily and Calem would handle the situation. She also thought Lily might be more emotional than usual due to fatigue alone, so she did not see much point in commenting on it just then.

"Oh! I forgot to tell you guys, me and Calem are dating now!" She chimed happily. She recived blank stares from all of them exept for Shauna, who looked genuinely upset and angry, which looked very strange, as she's never seen her like this before.

"Yeah, well I like him too! I tried to be happy for you, but this ruined that. I like him probably way more than your stuck up rich girl self could ever concive! Your always too busy feeling sorry for yourself and missing your starter that you probably didn't notice how your Lucario feels about you, he told me himself! Think about it, why would he come running for you at the beautiful aura he was sensing, why would he leave his original trainer to be with you?! I genuinely feel bad for him, and I would probably treat Calem way better than you could! I admit, Laura, you were amazing back in the day, no, wait, you were always too conceded and busy with your own things to rerember me and Calem from 2007, huh!? Now you've only gotten worse, and now... ugh, screw it, I'm out." She screeched, and as soon as Shauna's monolouge was over, the call abruptly cut, with Calem looking mad, bewildered, and sad all at the same time. Laura sank against the wall, hugged her knees to her chest, and burried her face in her poufy skirt, not a sound being heard from her.

-back on earth-

"Shauna was that necesary!?" Emma said angrily. "We diddn't even get where they were!"

"Yes. It. Was." She twirl-pivoted around and stormed out of the hideout.

"Ah. I don't die, so I'll be good." Kiki said cheerfully.

A few seconds later, a look of horror crossed their face. "...Actually, except for air. Good point." they said nervously.
They pushed the button for their helmet and it quickly folded over their head.

Lilli looked away from Guinan, hoping she didn't notice them.
f**k I wanna die.. f**k I wanna die...

"I'm sorry about your friends, Laura," Guinan said sympathetically to Laura's back. "Things will get better in time."

To Lily, Guinan gently said, "We've all been through a lot today." She did not know if Calem was actually angry with Lily or just annoyed in general, so she asked him, "Are you mad at us?" with a gesture indicating the group as a whole.

Back on Earth, some time ago:

Daniel, a Pokémon Trainer who's travelling somewhere on the road minding his own business, then suddenly he had a disturbing look on his face. Shedinja, a Pokémon traveling with him outside of its Pokeball, also stopped. Shedinja came up to Dan and said "Dinja?", as if asking What's the matter?

"Oh, it's nothing, Shedinja", I said. "It's just....I just had this strange feeling".

"Shed?", Shedinja asked as if to say About what?

"I dunno...it feels like I had a vision, something to do with a disturbance in space and time from far away. I don't know why, though."

"Ja...?", Shedinja said as if asking Dan Are you sure your feeling okay?

"Oh, it's okay, bud. I'll be alright. Come on."

And so, Daniel and his Pokémon Shedinja walked along the path of the road, continuing on their journey. (Though not aware of what was happening to our heroes far away to space.)

(Sorry guys, I wanted to be part of this roleplay for so long, but since I can't join you guys on what you're doing, I'm just going to be a normal Pokémon Trainer who's on a journey until you guys come back to Earth)

Calem sighed in aggravation and shook his head in response to Gunnian's question.

The jet black haired boy walked over to Laura and tried to pick her head up, only to see a very forlorn expression and for her head to flop back down. She wasn't crying or anything, she just looked lifelessly sad.
