Thanks for such big kudos! I think it's a bit of skill and having an annual accumulation of 61. I must admit that word play is a kind of candy for this old woman...I think my NOAA post took, oh, a good part of an hour -plus a half?? it's 'proofing that's such difficult 'work'. I do it, and find boo boos - so I do it again. I start and it just grows.
Anyhow, I sort of lost track of my clock during its composition....lol - I think I can say that grammar and word symbols, basically all things linguistic - hmmmm, now how to put it? A bit of a 'thing' for moi?! (this post was about 12 min.)
thanks for such an opportunity in starting this AnAlias,...it's lots of fun! And anyway, It's snowing right now!- nothing much to do but wait it out...I know! it's a form of indoor brain gymnastics!

This activity is hard for OddDuck. It's difficult to think of action words that don't contain a "no-no" symbol. :P

2nd or 3rd most common among all such symbols. Top two: i and s (or this no-no thingy).

You Nordics and your country's fancy-schmancy schools, "Oh, look at us, watching U.S. shows on TV, talking in your idiom from childhood and on. Don't I sound so smart, with my good grammar and strong vocabulary, oh ho ho ho..."

I'm kidding! Just giving you sh**. I wish our schools taught that way. I think a lot of folks in my nation would want that. And... a lot of stubborn bastards that just wouldn't support it.

Captain trips222...what is your nation?

NOAA was a tad off on that storm...blizzard was not 18"of snow...it was about 32"...I had the giant spoon out all morning. It is a snow canyon country in my front yard from the door to the road with walls almost 5' high! This snow was icy and full of H2O and hard to pick up. All my limbs hurt a bit, so I'm taking an aspirin with my cocoa tonight.

Oh, today, so much drain from walking faaaaaar and up and down hills a day prior. My limbs start to hurt, too. No walking in snow, thought. It was sunny.

Damn guys, not so loud! No, I won't say it again! Shut up. All your chit chat is distracting. I'm trying to fill out an application. Not just for dancing in a strip club but for actual work. I lost all my dollars playing cards at this bar in down town Miami, and now I'm trying to bring in cash for my land lord. And my f**k buddy too, who won't go down on a guy without moolah. Oh, and that's right... I almost forgot, I must pay back this NARC, but is actually a drug pusher too. I know, isn't that awful? How wrong IS that? Talk about corrupt. Still, say what you want about him, that guy's a good buddy, and always had my back, so I won't turn him in. Also, you know how I couldn't go on without my fix! If his ass was in jail, who'd I buy from? Nobody, that's who. I'd go crazy. So okay, now you know why I'm hard up and got to find work. Alright, no talking now. Going to finish this job app, so if you all don't mind... shhhhhh!
