Wes Craven's original idea for A Nightmare on Elm Street 3 involved Freddy Krueger invading the real world and terrorizing the actors and filmmakers who created the movies. The studio rejected the idea, but it was eventually used for Wes Craven's New Nightmare.

I have no idea, so I tried looking it up. Apparently Lon Senior's tomb is unmarked. I can't find anything for Junior.

You are correct.....no names, dates, message of affection on the tomb of Lon Chaney Sr. and his wife.

Lon Chaney Jr's body was donated to science.

That Hamilton Woman was Winston Churchill's favorite movie. He saw it dozens of times.

Perhaps not entertainment, but.....

Sir Winston Churchill's gravestone was replaced in 1998 because of damage/wear due to the hundreds of visitors.

The director of Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan had to wear William Shatner out by doing multiple takes until he'd get tired enough to start actually acting.

Heather Locklear hay-ted working with him on 'T. J. Hooker'.

He kept trying to 'direct' her and generally boss her around.

A script for The Godfather Part III was written in 1979, eleven years before the film was actually released. Only minor elements of the 1979 script survived in the 1990 version.

In 2002, Steven Spielberg finally finished college after a 33-year hiatus. He turned in "Schindler's List" for his student film requirement.

The child actress who portrayed 'Little Girl In Red Coat' in the movie 'Schindler's List' did not understand what the film was about, and Spielberg, a father himself, asked the three-year-old to promise him that she would not watch it intil she was eighteen.

She promised.

But she did watch the film when she was eleven....she was traumatized for years.

Her name is Oliwia Dabrowska, and she has re-watched it when she was eighteen, and understands now that she was part of something to be proud of.

In The Blues Brothers, Jake (John Belushi) takes off his sunglasses but never takes off his hat, and Elwood (Dan Aykroyd) takes off his hat but never takes off his sunglasses.

Katherine Hepburn only drank water throughout The African Queen production as a protest against John Huston and Humphrey Bogart's alcoholism. However, most of the cast and crew became sick from the water and only Bogart and Huston were unaffected because they only drank whiskey.

The Wizard Of Oz

Buddy Ebsen, the original Tin Man, had to abandon the part after being hospitalized. The cause, a reaction to the aluminum powder in his make-up.
