(OOC: If you weren't going for the kick, I'll change this. Also, if there's any problem with power points, let me know. Fennekin has certainly used more of them than the Bunnelby.)
BIC: Skip's kick goes wide and grazes Foxy's side. They stand almost facing each other, Foxy crouching a bit to the side. "Hit her with ember again, Foxy, you're doing great!" Guinan beams a smile at her Fennekin.

Laura exitedly watched the battle, it brought back a lot of memories for her. Sure it was nothing compared to the Leauge battles, but her battling skills probably were a bit rusty. Laura closed her eyes for a brief second, rerembering the blue and white creature. 'Mikey.. I really do miss you...' She thought, idly. Just as one of the pokemon landed a hit, she snapped out of her thoughts in exitement, watching intently.

Bunnelby leapt in the air,
avoiding it by a hair.

"Sick dodge, man!" Lilli cheered.
Skip flipped backwards and landed on its feet.

Okay, seriously. This whole speed tactic thing was working, but they weren't hitting at all.
They'd been trying to do all these weird maneuvers, but really they could just straight-up attack.

Lilli looked at the move-list.
Tackle is stronger?

"Uh, okay, use Tackle!"

"Wow!" Guinan can't help but say, impressed with the Bunnelby's dodge. Foxy turns to the side to run away before Lily can shout the next move, but he isn't fast enough to get far. It happens in a split second. Skip slams Foxy from behind, dealing the critical hit that causes Foxy to faint.

(Geez, no offense, but I really dont like RP battles. Their so long. )

"Alright! Lilli has won!" Laura shouted. She walked over and petted Skip on the head.
She then walked to Gunnian and handed her strange looking crystal. "Toutch Foxy to this and she'll be back up and running. You two still did awesome!" She said.

Guinan accepts the crystal, a bit confused. She walks over to her downed Pokemon, touching the crystal to the large wound in his back. To Guinan's astonishment, Foxy's wounds start disappearing, and Foxy stands gracefully. "That was the fastest recovery I've ever seen!" she remarks before walking back to Laura to hand her the crystal. "Thank you for your help," she smiles at Laura.

The smile remains on her face as she quickly grabs the pokepuff and the rest of the sticks from the basket. She drops the sticks at Foxy's feet before walking over to Lily to hand her the pokepuff. "That was a good battle, and no lasting harm done," she says to Lily.

(OOC: @Nightstar16, I'm curious: if you don't like RP battles, then what do you like best about RP in the Pokemon universe? Also, thanks to you and Lillikoi for the tips earlier.)

(It's actually the story part and 'the bond between Pokemon and Trainer' that they talk about alot in the anime.)

Soo.. Now what? Laura said, taking a bite out of the pokepuff she was holding, trying to eat as ladylike at possible, as Calem was walking towards them. She may be one of her best friends that helped her take out Team Flare, but she kind of... Well..

"Oh, I thought you left! Hehe!" She giggled nervously while nearly knocking him over in the process of hugging him. She quickly pulled away, blushing. "Sorry..." Laura said, adverting her eyes shyly.

I read somewhere that one format we could do is by doing 3 moves per post. We could do something like that to make battles shorter.

Mike and Sam stow their scientific equipment. "Nice battle, it will take me days to properly analyze all this data. Those are some amazing creatures, I may have to get one for myself."

Guinan giggles as she watches Laura and Calem. "Hey! Aren't those sweets supposed to be for the creatures we're training?"

(OOC: Could you give me an example of one of those stories offhand, where you liked the bonding between trainer and Pokemon?)

Lilli gladly accepted the Poke Puff. "Heh, thanks," they grinned. "It was.. uhh, pretty interesting."
They broke the Poke Puff in half, giving one half to them and the other to Skip. "As promised." They ruffled her on the head. "You did a good job, pal."

The other half Lilli popped in their mouth. They stood chewing it nonchalantly. Laura was talking but they weren't paying any attention.

"Mmm, say.." They said looking at Laura. "You wanna head in for lunch?"

(The last scene of Facing the Grand Designs in the XY anime. Heartwarming. Simply heartwarming.)

"Their for all of us, actually." She said, blushing crimson. Anna just sighed. "Syl..."

"Oh, really?" Calem asked, trying one. Laura winced. Those were the ones that she made, and she knew that at least his Absol wasnt fond of them.

"Wow, these arent bad." He said. Laura sighed out of relief.

"Hey, thanks! I made them myself, you know!" She said proudly. Laura turned to Lilli. "Sure..."

"Hey I wanna come too." Calem said.

"I'll try one too then," Guinan walks over to where Laura put the pokepuffs, taking one for herself and another for her Fennekin. "Very tasty, thanks," she says to Laura. "I'm a bit hungry and very thirsty, so I need to do something about that." To Mike, she says, "I bet our scientists would have a field day with your data on that battle. I didn't think about it. I should have asked if you could study that crystal before I gave it back."

(OOC: @Nightstar16 The Youtube version is a little messed up. The anime episode you mentioned had me cracking up. Mallomars, like the cookie? Really? LOL. And which scene was the one you liked, the one with team rocket???)

"That's actually a great idea. Laura, can I see that crystal for a moment?"

"Umm.. Sure? Just give it back to me when your done. It was pretty expensive." She said, sliding it across the table to where Mike was sitting.

(Its Malamar. Thats my fave episode of the whole anime.)

"Thanks." Mike takes out the wormhole containment device and opens it up, the wormhole falls out and 6 robotic insect-like legs come out form the bottom allowing it to move around. He scrapes the crystal with the knife attachment on his arm to remove a tiny sample of it and drops it into the wormhole, then puts the wormhole back into the containment capsule. He then takes a scan of it and gives it back. "That will keep the scientists on Nexus busy for a while. Oh, does this Earth have any international communication and data transfer networks?"

Guinan watches Mike send the crystal fragment through the wormhole. "How do you know that the crystal made it to the station? And who do you want to communicate with?" she asks Mike curiously.
