You actually played ok in surviving against the terminators for so long. I would have tried to locate the scout marines hiding in your base.

Commanders can detect hidden enemies. Just put a few officers around the base, and search frequently.

I noticed one discovered scout when you started to rush. I didn't pay much attention to it though because there were more things to pay attention to.
