Terra and Kefka are my firm two favourite characters in Final Fantasy VI. Terra's just such a tragic figure. But that also brings to mind a question: if she was snatched as a baby by Gestahl from her mother, and had the slave crown put on by Kefka when 16 or 17 or however old she was, what did she do in the meantime?

Why not? It's usually the jury that sees the gory bits, not the judge.

Toddled along the cold, corrugated metal hallways of the Imperial palace in Vector, followed by a scowling nurse. Flushed a lot of toilets for fun in her free time.
Actually, when I was fourteen I wrote a fanfic that touched on that time period. I don't have it anymore, I don't think. Involved quite a lot of abuse.
