To Laura, something about that Rockruff diddn't look right. "How is that Rockruff talking?" She asked.

Lucy rabidly looked for the sign, not thinking to look on the floor. Once she did, she looked down at it. "You do know the changing rooms are across the room, right?" She asked, picking him up, but once Laura looked over at the plank of wood and saw that it was floating, she held him up on the wall, making him look like he was hanging on it. "Haha, nothing suspicious here! Totally not a creepy ghost girl!" She said, leaning against the wall casually, even though only a select few could hear her and that those few would know Lucy was a ghost girl.

☆10 years later☆

"And some stuff is going down! I rerember some guy named Daniel, a Rockruff, a girl named Star, and... a piece of wood that moves on it's own? ...And before this, I rerember saying that the reality broke to Calem... and our first date being up in space? The heck is going on back then?

Rachel gave her the How hard did you hit your head? look that Laura gets so often, even then.

(I'm sorry if I was being rude, Midnightstar. )

When Dan noticed Naomi the Dog talking in the Pokémon Center and Lucy scolding at Sign and Naomi, and when Nurse Joy asked him if he was from Alola, Dan answered, "Oh, no, ma'am. I'm from the Unova Region. And, technically, she's not my 'Rockruff', she's, um...." Dan looks around towards his new friends, and the person he first noticed was Star.

"Um, this is her 'Rockruff'. Right, Miss Star?", Dan gave Star a look that told her Please, just play along!

(It's fine! ╹◡╹)

"I'm new to this whole Pokemon thing too, okay!" Star said. Laura glared daggers at her. "But... yes, she was my first..." star leaned into Laura, whispering, "What do you call your first Pokemon around here, again?" "Starter." Laura replied. "Yeah, um, she.... I-I mean Naomi, was my starter! Heh..." Star said nervously. Everybody in the Pokemon center looked at Star suspiciously.

"Um", Dan said, "Perhaps we should go find a restaurant now while we wait for our Pokémon to be healed?" He said that to his new friends as if he meant before things start to get really awkward?

"Dinja!", Shedinja said as if saying Yes, let's!

Dan then walked up to Nurse Joy, bowed, and said, "Please forgive our trouble, ma'am."

"Oh, it's alright," Nurse Joy said, though in an unsure manner, "no harm done."

"Yes! We shall." Laura said tensely, lacing her manicured fingers together and following Dan out of the Pokemon Center.

"Hey! You two need to come with us unless you want to be nagged by everyone else!" Lucy hissed.

Naomi skipped along behind Star, pretending to be her Pokemon.

As soon as the doors closed, a patron stood up in the back of the Pokemon Center.
"Er, ma'am, did that Rockruff just steal your sign...?"

The Nurse Joy sighed and buried her face in her hands. "Oh god, why did I take the graveyard shift?"

As soon as they got outside, Sign
looked around, giving everyone a stern look. "If anyone asks, I'm a robot, all right?" he whispered.

(Lol, Nurse Joy's reaction. )

"Now that I think of this, this is kind of amazing. How did I even get myself into this situation, 4 o'clock in the morning, running around Lumiose City with a bunch of people from other worlds??" Laura grumbled to herself. Once she walked out of the Pokemon Center, she saw that Calem had made it to where he was standing outside. Upon seeing Calem, Kimmy broke out into a grin a mile wide. Come to think of it, I wonder how the Laura and Calem from my time period are doing...

"Oh Calem you have no idea how glad I am to see you." Laura said breathlessly.

☆Flashback, Kimmy☆

It had been snowing profusely in Pallet Town, everybody there being stuck in the house. The power had been knocked out, so playing on her Switch was out of the question, and it was too dark to read anything.

Laura, Ash, Rachel and Kimmy sat in the living room, uterrly silent. Everything was still, with the exeption of the flickering of candles. Kim was curled up next to Ash, her small body balled up in a blanket with Lizzie, her dad's Pikachu, and a few other plushies, with her father's arm hugging her close to him. Rachel was holding Kimmy's hand, bracing herself for the pain of her squeezing her fingers (she has one heck of a grip for a six year old!) when there would be sounds of thunder in the distance. Laura, being the curious girl she is, was looking forlornly out of the window.

[Well, I'm totally lost. I'm not too sure what's happening. ]

"Wait!" a voice said. The doors burst open, and out ran the little boy from earlier.

He ran up to Star as she was exiting and looked up at her with huge eyes. "I just wanna say... You're really, really cool!" he gushed.

Star looked down as Naomi licking her leg. She was starting to feel her love of puppies kick in.

"Wha... Huh?" Star looked really confused. Is that TV show really that popuar? she thought. "Thank you!" Star said with an unsure yet cheerfull smile.

The little boy struck a pose fiercely, like a superhero. "My name is Hau, and I wanna be a Trainer when I grow up!" he said.

(Haha, subtle Sun and Moon cameos. )

(As in that Hau? And is he talking to Laura or Star?)

(Yup. He could be talking to everyone, but probably just to Laura and Star. There's reasons he might be in Lumiose, but that would be minor spoilers for Sun and Moon.
[Not that I've played them though ]

"Hehe, why thank you~" Laura said bashfully.

Suddenly, a blonde girl with emerald green eyes stepped out of the Pokemon Center, holding a book. "Hau, why are you taking so long--" She almost dropped her book when she saw Laura.

(When does Sun and Moon take place? And why would Hau be in Kalos?)

(I think it takes place after X and Y, so this is like a prequel Hau. )

Hau suddenly looked at the time. "Oh wow! Look, it's almost time for my dad's flight to leave!" He grabbed the blonde girl by the hand and pulled her away. "Come on, Lillie, let's go!"

Lillie looked insistent on staying. "But wait, I just wanted to--"

Hau started racing off into the distance doing airplane arms. "Haha! Come on, race you to the airport!"

Lillie sighed. "I swear, he's even more of a handful than the Professor..."

(I hope I didn't clutter this up too much with all these sub-storylines... )

"Heheh!" Kimmy giggled at Hau's enthusiasim as he ran off, Lillie not too far behind.

"What are we even supposed to be doing again?" Laura asked, seeming genuinely confused.
