Stercus tauri. This so-called 'play' is more like bullying, especially in the PPR forum. You whinge about overmoderation, but in fact, this forum is undermoderated. And your whingeing about freedom of speech gets on my nerves. Freedom of speech is no good when all that comes the mouth is excrement.

People were just having some lighthearted play, God knows, it is needed sometimes. Everything always has to be so serious with you, Quater...cant you find any amusement in lighthearted things? No...dont even answer that.

But Cal isn't making fun of you in a mocking nasty way...he does that with all of us... we make fun of each other. It isn't meant in the way of the common garden bully variety. Just one of those nights. It can be remarkably releasing to just let go once in a while...tho it doesn't suit everyone... hell, I could have taken great offence at some stuff said in jest here, lol...but its much more fun to see if you can come up with a better witticism. and again to Alex. Luckily, he's not seemed to change his
stance. If you don't like serving under a fairly freely moderated
board, if that's not your style, grow some cojones and resign.


I know that you aren't used to liberties

revere them. Maybe because we had
to fight for them, instead of taking whatever
scraps the monarchy was willing to allow.

Not the same. For one, you are a grown man now, not a little boy. For two, this is a net forum, not the same context. For three, Cal is an adult too and this is a forum for fun. Fun can be at others expense but it does not mean it is done with malicious intent. I am more thin skinned than many and if I can see that it is just playful, Im damned if I know why you cannot. Stop living in the past.

Bullies always say, after they put down their victims, "just a joke" or "just a bit of fun". It is fun for them, but not for their victims.




'Grow some cojones?' calandale, in case you didn't notice, I'm the only mod who is even active to a good degree. MrMark does little. So does krex. So someones got to keep the peace. As for Alex, all I want is clearer guidelines, which I am yet to get. Not something vague, something more set in stone.

As for cojones, I know which of us doesn't have them, although macho contests aren't my style.

That is true, but then I am not considering Calandale a bully for a joke in a random thread. Only ones I consider bullies are those who repeatedly, and seriously, attack me with evident ill intent. You are seeing Calandale as being a replica of the bullies you experienced at school based on a jokey post in a generally jokey thread.

Other than that, I can't imagine, UNLESS you are
talking about the fact that I continually defend
the view that Alex put forth as to how this site
should be run, trying to keep you from overmoderating
it. And that's NOT bullying. That's my duty as

Too great a degree, when it comes to
'warnings' which you often make sound
like threats. THESE were more or less
expressly dissuaded by Alex. And, given
how poorly you handle them, I'd say with
good reason.



Thank the gods for that. His idea
of what was necessary did more
damage than ANYTHING that I've
seen at a site EVER.



A nearly exemplary mod, from what
I've seen. Helped with the spam attacks,
and handled what was CLEARLY wrong.
The only problem that I had was that
she didn't specify her role, but took
action outside of spam brigade.



Not by bullying the members, they don't.

given what the banning restrictions are,

won from him as a grudging

'payment' for helping to moderate
