I meant like a finch or something.

Don't worry.

That's cool. I suggest a cockatiel or a parakeet:

Lovely... I love birds.
Almost got a cockatiel until I considered the noise.

I used to have a pair of budgies, Trina and Alina. Also a cockatiel. Two, actually. The first was Grubby and the second was Pikachu. He was one of those yellow ones with orange cheeks.

Grubby was a great bird. Used to go crazy whistling every time she hear my sister's parking brake a block away. We used to replace her (unfertilized) eggs with easter candies, because she'd get so mad about not having it any longer, once it would start to go bad. She really wanted it to hatch.

Alina was scary. Every time we got her a cagemate, it died an untimely death. 8O She didn't kill it... but it always would die... we kept hoping she would, because she was a meanie. But she outlived them all.

You said that about the blue one a few days ago... she didn't recover completely after all? :(

They're only noisy when they're excited about something, like the sun out. :P

Just today she has started the refusing to eat and drink routine again. Also she has lost a lot of weight, already was blind, and is now barfing on herself. Haven't let stepdad know, I just hope he doesn't find out until she dies on her own. Petey is a 7 year old. Patty is the same age but she is a cockatiel and her age physically isn't the same.

Yeah. My wife's conyer was driving me
crazy.

But, finch's and canaries weren't
bad, in a big place.

If you wait 'til they're bigger, you can invite more guests to Thanksgiving.
