^Could be. According to Nausicca Wiki, his name is Teto and he is a fox squirrel. In all the years of being a Studio Ghibli fan, I never knew that.

I tried to find a picture of a cat who looks a bit like my old cat, Monkey Pi, but couldn't. She was a Maine Coon, with white all along her underside, and white paws, and greenish-yellow eyes.

We don't have any digital pictures of her, unfortunately. She lived to be 21! 8O I'm trying to convince my mum to get my a new kitty.
