Laura leaned against the wall with a bored expression. "Cool." She silently pleaded that this girl didn't have powers for her to be jealous of. "So, now what are we gonna do?" She asked.

(Yeah there is, just don't let your characters burn themselves. )

~Meanwhile, back at the hideout~

The bathroom door slammed, and Gristle's eyes jolted open.
"Wha wuzz that?"

He felt hazy. "It feels like... I went to some really weird party... and passed out..."

He sat up. What if all of last night really was a dream? Maybe he just had too much snail extract, and had a really weird dream where he went to space, and then there was a really weird place where people captured animals in tiny balls...

He laughed. "Yeah, of course it's all just a dream..."

But then he woke up to see a dog, a rectangle, and a ghost girl sleeping next to him, and realized the reality of his situation.

"Oh, crap." He grimaced. "It is real."

When Guinan came out of the bathroom, he looked at her groggily. "Hey... do you know where we are? And what today's date is?"

Leaving the bathroom, Guinan looked somewhat more awake. Her face was also quite wet from all the cold water she splashed on it to wake herself up a little. "We're in Laura's pokemon hideout, remember?" she replied to Gristle. Retrieving her things from beside the wall where she had slept, she added, "Maybe I can pull up some news with the date on this pokedex..."

(OOC: Would Guinan find anything of interest in their local media?)

Lychee grimaced. Wait, were these people getting bored of them? That sucked...

Their smile faded.
"Oh. Well, uh, you asked, so I thought you might be interested, but, uh..."

When Laura mentioned, "So what do we do now?", Lychee's expression brightened a bit.

"Well, er... you're the Champion, right?" They kept their voice as quiet as possible when they said this. "I was wondering... if you might.... might, maybe, want to battle me?" they said, trying to hide their excitement.
They put their hands up in the air.
"I mean, not right now, not today,
doesn't have to be... ever! But I'll be here this whole week, and I haven't had a battle in a really long time, and you seem pretty cool, so I thought..."

Kimmy tore her eyes from the screens of her DS and look at him cofused. "You don't know where you are? You're on the Pokemon world, silly! Though I don't know what day Lizzie dropped me off at..." She paused her game to look at the time, and the clock still insisted it was the date she came from.
Once the ghost girl started to wake up, she started snapping her fingers in Gristle's ear, just to be annoying. "Lucy stahhhpp..." She said, shaking her shoulder, which insteal she promptly started on Kim's ear, until Kim let her borrow her DS to keep her busy.

(Just some gossip about the Gym Leaders and Elite Four and Laura... other than that, I don't know, make up something Also, what day would it be? This started in the summer of last year even though we've only been through a few days... )

"Heheh, um, what level is Lavender here? Cause, um, no offense, but you'd probably have your butts kicked... Please don't think I'm arrogant..." she said with a slight blush.

While at the grocery store, Dan was picking out things he needed to get to cook. He picked out, Mayonnaise, Macaroni noodles, bell peppers, eggs, and some other things.

"Shed, Shedinja?", Dan's Shedinja asked if to say Are you going to make Macaroni salad?

"Why, yes. Yeas, I am, bud", Dan responded, "And I'm going to make it the way mom made it."

"Shedinja!," Shedinja said cheerfully as if to say Alright! Your mom's Macaroni salad is the best!

"That's very thoughtful of you," Dan said, "But how can you know it really tastes good? You don't even eat."

"Shedinja...", Shedinja said angrily as if to say Well, at least I can smell!

"....You don't even breathe either!", Dan argued.

--Meanwhile--

Dan's Cousin was looking out from the side window of the airline plane in a concerned and excitable way, when the attendant calls out from the intercom, "Ladies and Gentleman, can I have your attention please? We're letting you know we are about to cross the halfway point to your destination. Thank you for your patience."

"Oh, thanks." Gristle smiled.

Feeling impatient, though, Gristle pulled Lilli's Pokedex off of the floor and curiously toyed with it until he could bring up the news app, too.

"Whoa, what's this." He blinked.
"Hey Guinan, check this out." he said, pointing toward a specific place on the Pokedex screen.

On the screen was a headline, reading "SHOCKING NEWS: Devon Corp. Hires Former Team Rocket Leader." He looked at her quizzically. "Why would a well-known corporation like that want to hire a former gang leader? Wouldn't that be bad for their reputation?"

He flipped over the Pokedex to show her the copyright information on the back. "See? That's the people who made these devices."

He held up a finger. "And, and! What's more..."
He scrolled down to show her another headline, this one reading "Xerosic, Infamous Team Flare Scientist, Gets Out Of Jail."

"See? It says here that his bail was posted by Steven Stone, who's, like, the head of Devon Corporation."

He looked up at her. "But don't you think that's a weird coincidence, that both of these things are so close together?"
He put up his hands in the air.
"Like, what would these well-known dudes, who are like the No. 1 tech company in the world, want with these former criminals? Doesn't that seem sketchy?"

Calem, who stayed behind because he was more intrested in what the two Mikes were doing, heared Gristle and looked over at him. "Maybe... maybe Xerosic has changed." He trailed off. At least that's what he desprately wanted to belive to keep his mind from running wild with the possiblities of what could be going on.

Guinan sent a quick text to Lilli as Gristle researched: "How're you feeling? We're at hideout, Laura/Emma at food store."

"What... Who's that... Nothing strange about crooked corporation leaders," Guinan muttered. "I bet there are lots more."

Then, Guinan started reading headlines aloud: "Hmm, Pokemon news... Investigation Into Elite Four Tournament Scandal Continues... Who Might Laura's New Love Interest Be... New Pokedex Easter Eggs Discovered... Pokemon Center Decor Critiqued... What is this nonsense they call news?" Her voice was quiet and flat at first, as it had been the whole time she'd been awake that afternoon. As she read more headlines, however, her pitch and volume rose until it was very clear she couldn't believe what she was reading. "Gristle, how did you pull up the real paper and I got this junk?"

"Some people may or may not be intrested in that..." Kimmy said meekly.

Calem seemed rather alarmed at the first and second ones that Guinan mentioned, since the last time an article about her like that was written she was with Siebold, and the scandal was what happened to that, which pretty much shattered Laura, along with thinking too hard about her memories. He was a little scared that he would have to come out as her new boyfriend, though. Calem wished people would mind their own business.

"I know they are, and that's OK," Guinan told Kimmy as she stretched out on the floor. "It's just that you don't often find the truth in those stories. The stories are about real people with real lives. Rumors can destroy those lives."

"Point taken..." Kimmy sighed. She could understand, her mother was a Pokemon Preformer and her father a Pokemon Master. Whenever a rumor started going around specifically her mom, she would lose her mind trying to disprove it to everyone. Though at triainer's school, she was doing a good job trying to hide who her parents were, prefering to stick with with Lucy, Jacob and Anthony, who would never let her secret get out. She wondered how Jacob and Anthony were taking Lucy's death and her sudden dissapearence. "Some bad things are going on in my time period... Can I tell you so I won't think about it so much?" She asked with a sad expression.

Mike 1's robotic arm projects a hologram displaying the calculation data as it is returned from the space plane's computer in the form of a line being drawn showing the wormhole's trajectory within the planet. Finally the calculation finishes and the list of times and locations is modified to include near surface passes.

Mike 2: "OK... Two of these catch my eye. This one is underwater in the ocean west of Kalos, and this one is in the side of a cliff east of Kalos. We will either need a submarine or explosives to make this work..."
Mike 1: "Given that this is a world where people domesticate creatures which can levitate things with their mind and teleport we might be able to improvise."

"Sure, Kimmy, I'll listen," Guinan said simply.

~Meanwhile, at the grocery store~

"Uh... she's level 25," Lychee replied. "Though, we haven't battled in several years, so I may be slightly out-of-practice... I've also got a Ditto, if that helps."

Emma looked at Laura, slightly concerned. "I'm not sure if they mean with the Pokemon you have on you... do you have any lower-level Pokemon in the PC you could use?"

"...If you don't, that's chill." Kiki offered. "I have a weaker Pokemon you could use, if you want. He's a level 28 Remoraid." They looked at Laura. "Would that still be alright?"

Gristle was still thinking about the news he had read, and was formulating different theories in his head, but he decided to let it go for the moment.

He looked up concerned when Kimmy mentioned that something
was going on in her time period. "Wait... your time period? Y'mean you... time traveled?"

He blinked and scratched the back of his head. "Wow. I apologize if I'm missing a few things; I... may have fallen asleep a bit early." he said sheepishly.
