Kimmy gulped nervously. "I have three main people who I like to play with. Lucy, Jacob, and Anthony, and we all met each other because of how much me and Lucy idolized Laura and the boys loved how strong Calem is. So, the school I go to lets the kids carry one small Pokemon each to help the teachers in saying how important the bond between the pokemon and trainers is, and I bring Lizzie. So, we were starting to learn about what pokemon are mythical and ledgendary and stuff, and Anthony was starting to ask how I have a supposed mythical, and I didn't know that she was, I mean, she's just Lizzie The Awesome! So, since Anthony is really stubborn, we kind of got mad at each other for the day, and me and Lizz and Lucy had to go through Viridian Forest to get home, which is usually no big deal, since we do it everyday. And then out of nowhere, this huge Ursarang comes up and pretty much eats Lucy alive, and I couldn't go get help since she kept yelling "DON'T HELP ME" until the very end, and I saw everything... No more jokes on the random Team Eon grunts and stealing Prima's hats... ugh nothing is gonna be the same anymore!" She bursted out crying. "S-So my mom told me to go somewhere in time where I'd be safe, and here I am." Kimmy sobbed. "Hey I'm not all the way gone yet..." Lucy said, patting her back. "Don't cry or I'll cry too..."

☆At the store☆
"Ooh! I have a Level 24 Teddiursa and a Level 27 Minior with a pretty pink core!" Laura grinned happily.

Guinan grinned at the idea of bringing a pokemon to school, but her expression quickly sobered. "I'm so sorry about your friend," she said sadly to Kimmy. "I've seen friends die too, so I know how awful it feels." Guinan would have been surprised to discover that Lucy was in the same room with them as a ghost, even after meeting Ia and Anna-Ne.

Gristle had been through many, many trying times.

When Ember escaped and started terrorizing the city; when, for the first time, things close to him was suddenly under threat;
when, as a sixteen-year-old, he was suddenly called forth and told to protect the city; when he ended up defeated and his girlfriend had to come rescue him.

He had fought monsters, gone on adventures, and fought off the demon army when they started encroaching upon his hometown.
But he had never, personally, lost someone close to him, so he was at a loss for what to say to her.

But when Kimmy started crying, his expression softened. "Hey. Hey, it's okay to cry." he said gently.

"That's... that's tough to lose a friend. I mean, I've never lost a friend, but... I've had friends get hurt before. I know how that feels."

He squatted down to Kimmy's level and looked her in the eyes. "But y'know what? Look. You've still got your friend beside you. And I can be your friend, too. We are all your friends."

"And I can assure you that I-- and everyone else here-- will do everything in our power to help you. Because that's what friends do, right?" he smiled.

[Since time travel is being brought up, would going back in time to save Lucy just create a huge paradox?]

(I never thought of that.

And this is just me,

But if Lucy didn't die, wouldn't Kimmy be a different Kimmy since the tragedy never happened? And wouldn't Kimmy's parents have never sent her back in time? So then, our characters never would have met Kimmy.

Or, would the "new" Kimmy and Lucy in the alternate timeline exist, in addition to the Kimmy and Lucy that we know?


Sorry, I don't know much about time travel.)

At the store, after Dan and his Shedinja calmed down and came to an agreement (especially since they were starting to cause a scene in the superstore), they continued to shop for the groceries they need. When they entered through the cereal isle, they came across a row of cereals that seemed familiar to Dan. "Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs?", Dan said in suprisement, "I didn't know they actually existed! I thought they were from that comic!"

"Shed...", Shedinja said in agreement, but also disgusted

"Yeah," Dan said in agreement, "I don't even know why kids are into that stuff. They bounce off the walls when they eat this crud!"

"Shed!", Shedinja replied in agreement.

And so the two eventually got everything they needed to make Macaroni Salad, and then returned to where his friends are when they see another kid talking to Laura about a Pokémon battle.

(BTW, Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs is a fictional cereal that commonly appeared in the comic Calvin and Hobbes.)

(OOC: Kimmy and Lucy traveled ten years into their past. That would have been before Lucy's birth. They can now go forward in time to save Lucy, but the consequences of that are making my headache even worse LOL.)

(The only two things they couldn't do is talk to the former or future versions of themselves and they can't interfere with people dying. Soo, yeah. )

When she heard Dan say the name of her favorite cereal, Laura walked over and snatched one off the shelf. "Hope ya don't mind, but I'll just get this myself. Anna and I love this cereal." Laura grinned, hugging the box.

Calem looked sympathetically at Kim. He could understand, he had almost lost Laura in the Geosenge Incident. He had even risked his own life to save her, all because he loved her so dearly. Though, Lucy made him think about what he would have done if she had said to not put himself in danger. "That sucks..." he said, unsure of what else to say.

Kimmy grinned through her tears. "I don't know why you guys are being so nice to me when I just met you a few hours ago, but thank you!"

When Dan and his Shedinja saw Laura taking a box of Chocolate Frosted Sugar Bombs, Dan blurted out in Are you kidding me? manner, "...What."

To avoid temptation, Dan walked over to the cereal isle and got a box of cereal that he likes, Frosted Mini-Wheats. After, he returned to his companions once again.

"You have a thing against sweet cereal?" Laura and Anna glared at Dan. "Hmph." She said with an eye roll.

"Um, I have a sweet cereal, too!" Dan replied, holding up the box of Frosted Mini-Wheats. "It's just that those kind of cereal, like the one your carrying right now, is just way too sugary! It should be a dessert cereal."

Laura giggled. "There's no sutch thing as too sugary, silly! Anyway, let's go if you have everything you want." Laura said, skipping off towards Emma.

"Because loss is universal," Guinan told Kimmy. "And anyway, you must've been sent here for a reason."

"It was to keep me safe from the brainwashed pokemon." Kim explained.
