"Uh, that's all I need, but if you want to go ahead and fill this pot with water, that'd be great." they said with a grin.

They reached into a cabinet below the stove and pulled out a large metal pot and then clanged it onto the counter. "Upsie-daisie!"

They handed the pot to Laura. "There you go."

The two of them were standing right by the kitchen sink. Kiki went ahead and appeared to be fishing out a container of eggs.

Laura took the pot from Kiki, and carried it over to the sink and turned the water on, waiting rather impatiently for it to be filled. Then, she lugged it back over to them, trying her best not to spill it. "Alright, done. What's next." She asked.

Is this Roleplay still open?

(It is, but we're kinda full... )

Listening quietly, Guinan started setting up a dish and utensil area, stacking plates, cups, napkins, and utensils for when people were ready to eat.

(I have a plan for a scene here... )

"Thank ya, dear." Kiki accepted the pot from Laura and clunked it onto the stove. Then they turned on the gas stove, waited for the flame to spring to life, and turned up the temperature to medium-high.

They stood there for about five minutes, waiting patiently for it to start bubbling.

When the water was finally boiling, Kiki quickly reached for the cutting board of cheese and was about to empty some cheese into the pot when they remembered something.

Kiki turned to Laura. "Er, sorry to bother you, but could you just hold this for a second while I go get the pepper?"

"Um, sure...?" Laura said, taking the cutting board from Kiki.

"All right, I got the pepper!" Kiki came back holding the pepper shaker, but as they did, they rather conspicuously bumped into Laura, causing all of the cheese to be dumped into the pot. "Oh, oops!"

They sighed. "Well, I guess it's okay to have a little more cheese than usual."

"Now could you hold these potatoes while I go get the salt?"

"Gah! Oh, my Arceus, I'm so, so sorry!" Laura squeaked. "Now everything is gonna be ruined because of me!" She buried her face in her hands before picking the cutting board up out of the pot and setting it in the sink, sighing sadly.

Kiki gave a sad look. "No no no, you did nothing!" they said. "You literally just stood there and held something. You can't say it's your fault if it's because of something someone else does."

They shrugged. "I elbowed you. It's my fault. I should've paid more attention."

Kiki held the potatoes above the pot, about to empty some of them, when they realized they forgot something. "Oh crap! I totally forgot something again!"

They handed the cutting board to Laura. "Would you mind holding this right here while I get the salt?" they grinned.

"Yeah but I'm always in the wrong place at the wrong time..." she explained, adverting her eyes.
When Kiki held the cut up potatoes out to her, Laura smiled bashfully before walking off to stand in a corner of the room and holding onto them for dear life, hoping she wouldn't mess up again.

(What's with the sunglasses?)

After Dan finished removing the shells from the eggs, he then finds an egg slicer in the kitchen drawer and starts slicing the eggs into strips, yolk and all.

"Oh, the salt's over here," Guinan said, walking over to hand it to Kiki. "What are you making with the eggs?" she asked Dan.

Mike folds a knife attatchment out from his robotic arm and asks "Does anyone need any help?"

"Well, usually, we put some eggs in the macaroni salad", Dan responded, after finishing up slicing the eggs, separating the whites from the yellow yolk as much as possible. Then he pulls out the honey mustard and mayonnaise from his shopping bag, then starts mixing the yolk with the mayonnaise first, then mixes a certain amount of honey mustard with the former.

"Actually," Dan said, "The macaroni salad that my folks used to make is also part egg salad, too. Does anyone have olive oil?"

"Uh... I asked you to watch the pot, not the wall." Kiki said.

Laura scooted over to where the pot was.

"That's better." Kiki added.
