Can a question mark only be used to terminate a sentence?

Well, most people seem to think so, but that is not the case.

As well as ending a sentence, have you seen it: used to delimit a list? used elsewhere without forcing a following letter to the capitalised?

The former occurs as shown above and the latter? here, I guess.
