More like a caraban of camper-bans, which you can consider yourself off of.

Here's a free arm-ban, courtesy of the Ban Bandying Band.

Banned
By The Man
And Lt. Dan
For standing canned, banned contraband
In the sand of this great land
By hand
And then you ran down the strand
Just like you planned.
Gran saw you and called the policeman, who was not your biggest fan.
Now you're into the fire, and out of the pan.
Ampersand,
You're banned.

The poet's surprise,
when rhyming goes overboard,
at his sudden ban

"Banning (4,444,4)43"

How shall I ban thee? Let me count the ways.
I ban thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of being and ideal grace.
I ban thee to the level of every day's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I ban thee freely, as men strive for right.
I ban thee purely, as they turn from praise.
I ban thee with the passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I ban thee with a ban I seemed to lose
With my lost saints. I ban thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life; and, if God choose,
I shall but ban thee better after death.

- Elizaban Bannett Banning.

Banned for thinking that only Shakespeare wrote sonnets. He wrote an awful lot of them, but How Do I Love Thee was written by Browning.

Banned for being clever.

Theta, you are banned for using your poetry for evil banning and not for good. That first poem was brilliant. :D

Theta's 'Banning' poem was a clever play upon Elizabeth Barrett Browning's poem.

Not her husband's.

So jrjones must be banned, as must Moomingirl, reason being that Theta's secon poem was cleverer.

And I am allowed to make up my own words, like 'cleverer'.

Another linguistic prescriptivist banned.

Also, why would a shared last name necessarily refer to the man? Sylkat, you're banned to give yourself some time to consider this habit of assuming the gender of various things.

Banned because the time is 5:04 A.M. And I do not think that I can quite cope with big impressive words like 'Neologisms'.

And because I have to do my dog's toenails and I am avoiding it.
