just spent nearly 3 very boring and hot hours sitting in a hospital waiting room with my son as they didn't realize we were there and no one told me we needed to sign in and then it turned out the doctor didn't know why we'd been given the appointment anyway as there was no point to it, nothing will have changed thought my son did get to see some photos of his optic nerves and back of his eyes

Fascinating thing going on here with infatuation, dopamine, someone else's guy (who doesn't deserve him and he'd be much happier if he were MY guy, I'm sure), PEA, obsession, norepinephrine, ADHD, emotional roller-coasters, and omg will I sleep tonight???

Remember, remember the Fifth of November.....Today is my birthday.

They want to offer me the job as Kitchen Mistress (which is quite possibly the coolest job title in the world ... anywhere but a monastery it would be called "executive chef"). The prior found me working on my job hunt today, and afraid they're going to lose me, he let it slip that he's been discussing it with the business manager. They just have to figure out how to fire my boss ... who's a monk of the community, so can't afford for there to be bad feelings about it. But he sucks as kitchen master, honestly. So ... now they know, I need a full-time job with a full-time salary, I need it urgently, and if they don't offer it soon they're likely to lose me altogether.

Whee. It's make me very happy!!

Um, I? Don't know, not bad though.. did my laundry and tonight's dinner is already ½ prepared so.. um, I can basically chill a bit.
