Anyway, now that it's 2005...

Doctor Who retrospective continues....

In 2005, Russell T Davies (the creator of Queer as Folk and The Second Coming) revives Doctor Who to much fanfare....

Fans wonder whether it would be good, with Christopher Eccleston as the Doctor....

...and singer Billie Piper as Rose Tyler, the latest companion....

...but the first new season of Doctor Who in years silences the critics. However, Christopher Eccleston leaves at the end of the series.

To be replaced, in spectacular fashion....

By David Tennant.

Yes. I never even talked to him and I feel as if I'd been struck. Panicky. I can't even imagine what Starbuline and his other friends must be feeling.

A welcome distraction.

I've been thoroughly enjoying Eccleston's Doctor in season one. I didn't think I was going to like him, but now I think I'll have a bit of a time adjusting to Tennant again.

That's a good pictures of Billie Piper. She has grown on me, too.

I gave him a ration of crap for abusing his power and locking the LP Thread on zOMG #2. I was just kidding around, but I still feel bad now. I am having a hard time getting his image out of my head. I had just seen his picture last week, and now feel guilty for wanting to not have that in my head to associate with this. It wasn't that long ago he seemed so happy about moving in with Starbuline's family. :cry:
