Before the film was released, Kevin Bacon considered Tremors to be the lowest point of his career. He admitted to breaking down on the sidewalk and yelling to his wife, "I can't believe I'm doing a movie about underground worms!" To his surprise, the movie was very well-received when it was released, and became popular enough on home video to spawn three sequels and a TV series.

When John Barrymore and Katherine Hepburn completed filming 'Bill Of Divorcement', Ms. Hepburn said to Mr. Barrymore:

"Thank goodness I don't have to act with you anymore."

Before casting Michael Keaton, the producers of Batman (1989) were considering Mel Gibson, Alec Baldwin, Pierce Brosnan, and Charlie Sheen. Gibson is the only actor who's confirmed that he was offered the part, but he turned it down.

Samuel L. Jackson demanded that the studio keep Snakes on a Plane as the title because it was the only reason he accepted the role.

When production on The Terminator was delayed, James Cameron kept busy by writing two screenplays: Alien II and First Blood II: The Mission. He was told by 20th Century Fox that he would be able to direct Alien II if The Terminator was successful. It was, so he got to work on Alien II, which was eventually titled Aliens. His script for First Blood II: The Mission was heavily rewritten by Sylvester Stallone and the film was eventually released under the title Rambo: First Blood Part II.

Sylvester Stallone's son is autistic.

When he separated from his first wife Sacha for the final time and filed for divorce, he publicly stated that he was unable to deal with his son's disability.

John Travolta's son had Autism too, but because he's a Scientologist, he didn't get medical attention for him and he had a seizure and hit his head and died.

Dear Campin Cat....I followed that story....so, so awful!

They really loved that boy, and were (and seem to still be) in such denial....their group dismisses and discredits psychiatry, psychology, genetic pre-disposition to addiction, and i have concerns about the care that people receive when mental health care is forbidden to them and psychotropic meds are forbidden.

Sorry for the rant....a pet peeve of mine!

Lon Chaney Jr. was so uncomfortable in the makeup and costume for The Mummy's Tomb, The Mummy's Ghost, and The Mummy's Curse that he had a long tube or straw running down from the inside of his mask to a bottle of vodka secured on his waist, which he would sip throughout the day to make the filming more tolerable.
