Sometimes we go over to my...what would she be...step-aunt [that sounds very odd, but anyway] to her house, and her cat Pumpkin loves cuddling up to me on the couch. :)

Throughout my life, I have had many rescued cats and dogs and loved them all. I was sad when they passed away, but glad to have had them for so long.

I have had a natural affinity and love for cats pretty much all my life. I still have one of my stuffies from when I was three or four, Meow. :)

Cats really don't like that since they see it as an expression of dominance. I mean, it might vary depending on the cat, but it's a part of their body language.

I had to google it! Cats do indeed dislike eye contact. Apparently they view it as a threat or assertiveness, according to the sites I found.

^When I was little, yellow-bellied sapsuckers were my favourite birds.
