It isn’t actually that hard to think up words for this topic.
In fact I know that an ostrich is a bird with wings, as is an owl. Both birds can flap. An ostrich cannot fly though. An ostracod also cannot flap. It is analogous to a mini shrimp. It is a microfaunal zooplanktonic organism of a distinct Subphylum which also contains crabs. Many kinds of ostracods occur: Podocopids, Platycopids, Myodocopids, Bradorids... Additional kinds I abhor obviously. That is not important. What is important is that fauna crop up in this paragraph. A coral organism has polyps and sting sacs. Corals occur ubiquitously in and on rocks. Do not worry. A coral is not a plant. A crinoid is not a plant in a similar way to why a coral is not a plant. What is a crinoid you ask? It consists of a calyx, a holdfast and brachial arms. Its arms catch floating food. It stands as a column, but not as a Roman column. It is not a starfish, but it is similar. Starfish cannot swim. It is only fish that can swim. A shark is a cartilaginous fish, but not poisonous actually. Gastropods crawl on sand though. A translation of “gastropod” is “stomach foot” in Latin. A gastropod is a mollusc: a snail in fact. A brachiopod is also a mollusc. A brachiopod has a soft stalk to attach to rocks. That is all: no Roman Gods or buildings, just zoological classifications and common fauna. Do you know about this classification or not? I do. This cannot last. I’m sorry. This was all I could do. I cannot find words to fit this task. I might fail at this task. I am distraught. Oh drat. Can I not say or write Latin? Thanks anyway. That is all I’m afraid. Did I do it?
