something about cruise creeps me out, in a scientific way ;)
so I'd choose hanks who has an element of nerdy niceness that appeals to me. :mrgreen:

choose a preferred movie -

*brave new world [1998 version with leonard nimoy as Mustafa Mond]
or-
*1984 [Richard burton 1983 version]

Never saw either movie, but I'll go with "Go Ask Alice" cuz it made me think of "Alice" the TV show.

"the devil went down to Georgia" because "dueling banjos" reminded me of that horrible movie "deliverance" ["squeal like a pig!"]. also I liked the line "I told you once, you @#$%!, I'm the best that ever was!"

which song-

*a boy named sue
or-
*one piece at a time

tough choice- I trend towards jazz over pop, so i'll go with doris day because she said "I ain't hep to that step [but i'll dig it]." :dj:

*old [acoustic] jazz [for example- duke ellington or count basic or vince guaraldi]
or-
*new electric/synth jazz? [for example, weather report]

I'm not one, much, for Jazz, either----but, I DO like the oldies----so, I'll go with "The Duke"! !

(I'm mostly Pop, Rock, R&B, and Country----and, I like Gospel, but I don't know anything about it / anyone in it, except Elvis. I used to have an Elvis Gospel CD goin' in my truck AT-ALL-TIMES!!)

~~~~~~~~~~~
MOVIES:
"Smokey and the Bandit"
OR
"The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas"
(If you're not familiar with these movies..... The first one is Burt Reynolds and Sally Field, and the second one is Burt Reynolds and Dolly Parton.)
smokey and the bandit was a comedy perfect storm :lmao: I never laughed so hard at a movie as when I went to see it back in the day. it was a movie both me and my dad could agree on. I hated the way they butchered it on NBC-TV when they stupidly decided to show it in bowdlerized form.
anyways,
star trek [original 60s serie]
or
star trek TNJ
Actually, I answered your last question the wrong way..... My answer is: I like the OLD Jazz, better.
As for "Smokey and the Bandit"..... It's one of my favorite "Go-to" movies----you know, when you don't know what to watch, so you "go to" one of the classics. I just watched it several times in-a-row, this past week----on VHS!!
The old Star Trek
Steven Spielberg
OR
George Lucas
