That's good. Do you still use that little bottled-shot one? I tried that, but tastes... like liquid bubble gum.

Not any more. There was a great price on them for a while, but then it shot up so I went back to drinking Monster Lo Carb. Tastes better, and even if it isn't noticeably cheaper, it seems to work well enough.

Cool. I think Monster is good, but I like the orange Rockstar drink a little better. Have you tried that one?

Cool, I used firefox too and it has some cool gadgets to choose from. How's the job search coming?

Nothing yet. >_< I've got one I'm still waiting to hear back from, interview went well, got great feedback for a change, but they couldn't give me an indication as to how much longer they would be interviewing people, or when they would have a decision. So I can't keep sitting on that one, and I'm back to looking seriously again, but I haven't given up hope on it quite yet.

I hate it when they just put you on hold like that. Burger King was going to hire me, but then they changed their minds and have me "on a list to be hired some time later when there is more business." Sure they do........ not. I put out applications all around town each month and this is the best I've gotten. Why is it so difficult to find work?

The "juiced" one? I think that's the same thing as the blue Rockstar can that's sugar free. If it is, that one is pretty good. I try to avoid extra refined sugar in my diet, but caffeine? Keep it coming.

I'm not sure, I've been at this for a while now. To be fair, I have gotten two offers, but the work environments and the jobs that were involved were abysmal, just not worth it to me. One required me to be on call to come in to the lab to process petrochemical samples at any hour of the day, and the guy in charge (the only other guy that would be working in the lab ) said it could happen a few times a week. I like being unable to sleep on a regular schedule, thanks. :P

The other... I just didn't like the feel of it. The chance for advancement was little to none, the location was horrible, the people seemed really difficult to get along with just from the brief interview I had, and if it only took that much time to figure that out, that's a really, really bad sign. That, and it was a temp to permanent position, and the guy said that they had already gone through several temporary hires that just didn't cut it. I got the feeling that they might be trying to just keep rotating in people as temps without admitting to it. -___-

This one I'm hoping for, there's a good chance I might still get it. The man I interviewed with worked for my mother several years ago, so that could help. I was told that everyone was impressed with me from the interviewing, and that they hoped I wouldn't be taken by someone else before they got around to making a decision...so it looks good, but as for when I'll actually know...no clue. :?

As for the Stylish theme stuff, here's links to the two components of it. There's a theme for all the colors, and one for the buttons. I've also got a global style for buttons that I should probably upload as well. I removed the banner at the top of the page, and a couple other things, but I don't think any functionality has been lost. Offered as-is, might give someone a starting point if they're interested in toying around with it any.

I think ComputerLove had posted a style there as well, that's what got me started on working on one for this website.

Image replacements style for Stylish

Color style for Stylish

Just installed Stylish, it is fairly easy on the eyes. Good job! :thumright:

Haven't tried the blue one, but yes it's the Juice one. Amen to the caffeine!

Well I hope you do get the job. I do know how you feel about those two job offers that you turned down, just my parents want me to get any job (and if it doesn't work out I get blamed.) Mom keeps saying I don't need a college education and dad keeps saying I don't need to drive a car. I say that everything in walking distance is not worth it and I need to go to college education to get a real career and not just a job.

Let me know if you find any obvious errors if you use it at all. I know the link to the store isn't displaying, I would probably have to hard-code it to appear in a different color, and I'm trying to avoid doing that sort of thing too much, in case the site ever changes. A lot of it is flexible, some of it I had to mess around with until I got it to look okay.

There's some inconsistencies in terms of colors for a few links, but I couldn't really find any way around that, other than using less colors, and I wanted to try and use all three of the ones I have on there because the icon set I'm using (Amora) has those three as the main ones on the CD borders, so I figured that would be a good selection to work with.

One would be that the "go-to last post" icon isn't showing up.

Hah, oh, I removed some of the icons because I never use them. <.<;;

Dave Prowse. Prowse was a bodybuilder, and also appeared in the Doctor Who story The Time Monster (appropriately enough as the Minotaur) and the TV version of The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy as Hotblack Desiaato's bodyguard.

Thank you. Cool. Was Desiaato the guy with the infinite improbability ship? President of the galaxy? Something like that?

No. That was Zaphod Beeblebrox. Hotblack Desiaato was a guitarist of a band called Disaster Area. When you see him, he's dead for tax reasons. This is a clip featuring him. As well as Dave "Vader" Prowse as the bodyguard.

And later on in the clip, guess who is playing the Dish of the Day? His then wife was the actress playing Trillian.

Hotblack? How many years ago was the TV show? I had just read the Ultimate Hitchhikers guide in 2002 and heard about the movie, but I didn't know there was a TV show.

PS: hello Anubis, how are you? what are you doing these days?

1982, from memory. Oh, and the Dish of the Day was actually this fellow.

Peter Davison, just before he got the role of Doctor Who.
