Okay, enough of the weirdness.

I recently got 4 DVDs. Hogfather, the first two Resident Evil movies, and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.

Lucky you! Number2Son's wishlist fills an entire sheet of A4. Santa's going to have an interesting time with that.

No, but I've just been looking at stills from the movie on IMDb, and this one is particularly eye-catching:

It looks very Matrix. Ooooh! Henry Ian Cusick is in it! (Desmond on Lost).

I've been a bit reluctant to go to a theater and watch that. (Or by any other means that I'm not going to admit to. )

The games were great, if I still had a functioning windows box I'd probably load one of them up every so often. The movie... I got a bit put off by the previews, due to their choice for the role of 47. He just looks too... soft. That says nothing about the man's (whose name I cannot recall. :P) acting ability, but he looks nothing like how 47 was portrayed in the games. All I can figure is that this movie wasn't really made with thoughts about how big fans of the game might react, but more to either bring more people in to the franchise, or just give people an entertaining movie. Both are understandable, and will probably lead to larger returns at the box office and beyond, but I just don't know if I want to give it a shot quite yet. It could be a great movie...or it could be horrible. I don't think a middle-ground exists for it, at least regarding my views on the movie.

...now to look into xbox repair guides, since mine died a couple years ago and I've been deprived of that game for some time. :x
