Well they looked like pancakes, and could have used more salt. But other than that they were ok.

You remember when iamnotaparakeet mentioned that he was making potato pancakes, and he was having a tough time not sampling his work as he went? I haven't made latkes (Jewish-style potato pancakes) in ages, so I was wondering how his turned out.

What?! Didn't even grate the potato and onion himself? Or curse when some of the potato got burnt and some stayed raw and crunchy? He's missed out on all the FUN!
P.S. I'm picturing him at the stove, pancake flipper in hand, with one of the birds perched on his shoulder.
