Yes enviro, it is nice that the regular threads are running again with the usual suspects. Things didn't seem the same without Krabo and Canaspie around for so long.

Now it seems like the world is back on its axis, instead of tilted out of kilter.

I guess I don't like change much.

It cannot come as a surprise to you that your task is hopeless.

So is yours, if you're trying to dredge all the sand from the river bottom.

I forgot I was on the river bottom. Got to find a new habitat.

There's only one real beach in Finland and it's several hundred miles from where I live. I guess that would be no option. -- Tree crab, hmm. :chin:

One real beach?? With all your miles of coastline?

Are you thinking of Hietaniemi or Yyteri?

Maybe you could be a lake crab- I believe you have a few of those around. 8)

He could have his location as "served on the rocks with tartare sauce and green salad."

Yyteri is what I had in mind. There are small ones, of course, spanning some 100 meters end to end, but they don't really count as beaches. Yes, we have plenty of coastline, but it is extremely rugged and rocky, taking its form after the glacial epoch.

Yet another potential location is "snowed under" which could also refer to your many activities IRL...

Enviro, your first post on this page I thought was by Theta - always associate him with that toothy green smiley. Your 'snowed under' post was very smart - I do like your clever puns. 8)

Krabo, I hope to visit Finland on my next trip back to Europe (probably 18 months time). Hopefully my Finnish will be good enough then for me to at least make myself understood. I am duly noting down any places that sound interesting to visit. :D

Moomingirl, you will be welcomed. If you have plenty of time to spend here, go to north. It's unique.
