Even if they're asleep, for example?Yup. To me, babies = spawn, evil things. Yes, I know I was one once, but I feel regretfully sorry for what trauma I put my parents through.
That anyone should feel they have to apologise for their very existence is occasion for sorrow. Conversely, feeling that one's mere presence in the universe is reason for acclaim is a bit over the top also.
Now here we are, about to celebrate the birth of someone who brought considerable grief to his mama, defied the lawful authority of the day, upset the financial establishment, and organised rebellion and sedition. And look how He turned out.
