Forest Mims? I have some of his books too. I first learned about from the manuals and the learning labs, then got his Getting Started In Electronics book and the four mini-engineer notebooks. Which books did you learn from? Right now I'm studying This book and I'm on the 23 chapter about JFETs. Stan Gibilibsco is nowhere near as good at explaining concepts a Forest Mims; it's like the difference to me between John Wiley and Jay L Wile.

Electricity 1-7 seems like a great book but... is there anywhere cheaper to buy it? $209 is fairly high....
