You'd think they'd have better things to do with themselves at 9am on a Sunday morning.

My favorite thing about Sunday (or any) morning is that it's usually quiet here. So there's no way I'm gonna sleep and miss the quiet time. Quiet time = quality computer time 8)
Of course the only reason I love the silence so much is that it's rare. I'd absolutely hate it if it were silent (meaning I was alone) all the time...

I love silence, I love it when I have the house to myself. I hate it when someone wakes me up early.

Surprisingly difficult to find anything postable. It happens to me a lot. I mean there are possibilities, it is not that. But there just is at times a strange resistance which blocks my mind.

What do you want to post? It may not be practical to post a Moomin from Finland to Cuba, or a tractor to Nova Scotia.

Your post office might just be too small...

Nah, Enviro, the post offices are probably big enough, but the letter boxes might be a tad small to hold a tractor. I think even a Moomin would be a bit much though.

It's so isolated where Krabo lives that there are no post offices - post is delivered by an old man in a red suit...using a sleigh pulled by reindeer. Only, they don't fly...

The old man delivers letters addressed to "Krabo: The Far North".

Not far from Moomin Valley. :D

I know what Krabo means about the posting though.

Sometimes it's like there is a big brick wall between my brain and the ability to process thought. That's one of the issues I have with my languages too, even when I am doing well with my study. Some days I can understand and speak a surprising amount, then the next day I will not be able to think of words I have been regularly using for years. :?

It's not so much a short circuit (although that happens often enough too)...it's more like someone has just turned a switch off, and what should work just doesn't function.

I reckon you're right, Moomingirl, jokes aside... We all have on days and off days, sometimes we function like a Rolls on all cylinders and other times like a rusty tractor with a missing wheel...

I didn't know you had a daughter.

We're not technically married, but we've been together for fifteen years. I refuse to use the term "boyfriend" - it sounds like someone you go to the movies with for a date on Saturdays. 8)

Yes, I have a daughter. She'll be 22 next month.

We're both sat here on separate computers, in our own worlds.
