"The ring" is a horror movie (Originally japanese, but there has been made an american version as well, and a rather bad sequel as well)
Spoiler alert: In the movie an evil little girl who was drawned by her father has imprinted her evil on a videotape, and all who see it are killed excatly 7 days after they have seen it. And she is in no way hot (or hawt) by the way, she is a zombie child.
