I think it's a chain reaction. Everyone gets in on the new RP, but then one person drops off, the next drops off........etc.

With school and work and everything people have, maybe we could incorporate some rule which means posting in a sequence so people who have other commitments don't get left behind and then leave the RP?

Chat would be good, just as long as it's 3+ people, not one-on-one. Also with time zones it would be tricky.
