(Oops, sorry Lilli, I didn't know. )

(Midnight: Yeah, they just vanished. Mike, Kiki, and Gristle are in a whole other plane of existence.
Also, mikeman. Could you have Mike reply to what Gristle is saying? I think that would make for an interesting conversation.)

Gristle looked up at the sky. "Hey, that looks like Graphea's sun!" He squinted at the pink object further, a look of realization on his face. "Wait... no, that is our sun! But how? What planet are we on?"

"Are you sure?" Gristle said. "Looks pink to me." He turned to Mike. "If I'm right about what that is, that's the sun of the Sugarplum solar system. It's made of 100% Nonsensolium."

He turned to Kiki after talking to Mike. "Yeah, uh. Care to tell us where we are?"

"A fun and interesting place!"

Gristle rolled his eyes. "Okay, besides that."

He looked around. Nothing but trees and ferns as far as the eye could see. The jungle was really, really dense, so much that you couldn't see into the distance. It was also pretty dark out. There wasn't much else to do here, so he supposed he might as well play along with Kiki's little game.

"Okay, I suppose it doesn't matter for now." he conceded. "So how does this whole Pokemon thing work?"

(Oopsy daisy. Just disregard that post, since it's too late for me to edit or delete it. )

"...I'll just assume they went to Kiki Ville to have their battle, wherever that is." Laura concluded. "Alright Lychee, let's get this party started, shall we?" She asked running an ample distance away from them and looking like she was about to throw Starburst's pokeball.

It rolled around happily on Laura's chair, still fast asleep. It was dreaming of someone precious.

Kimmy scratched under it's chin. Maybe it was like Litten in how he liked to be petted?

Lucy came running over with Lizzie. "KimmyKimmyKimmyKimmy! Laura's about to battle are you gonna watch with me and Lizz? It's gonna be so awesome to see her battle in per--" Lucy was cut off just as she was about to finish.
"Quit yammering and let's watch then!" Kimmy hissed, dragging her friend over to another table where they could get a good view.

"Nonono, that's impossible." says Mike as he gets the camera ready on his robotic arm to let him get a better look at the star. "Black body radiation can only produce a small range of colors like blue, white, and red. There is no such thing as a star that's-" he pauses as he aims the camera at the star and adjusts the brightness revealing a star that is an unmistakable pink. After a few moments of confused silence he says "I guess I stand corrected. But... But how is that possible? That shouldn't be possible, no Hydrogen fusing star should ever-... Wait, what did you say it was made of again?"

[That's brilliant. ]

"Okay, so can we go after you guys, then?", Rose asked Lychee, "Though we don't want to burden you, or anything."

"Say," Dan asked, "Where the heck did Mike, Gristle, and some of the others go?"

"No way we're gonna battle in here." Lychee said, shaking their head. "That's incredibly dangerous.”
They gestured behind them. "Let's go out into the lobby."

Lychee walked over to where their mom was sitting and checked in to let her know where they were going. "Mom, I'm just gonna be going out into the lobby to have a battle with Laura." they whispered. "We'll be back in a bit."

"A battle?!” Lychee’s mother seemed ecstatic, and she looked like she wanted to hug them. “Lychee, that’s great! When was the last time you even had a battle?”
Her expression became worried. “But honey, it’s been five years since you last had a battle. Do you even know how to—"

Before she could finish her question, Lychee was already walking out the door. They led Laura out of the restaurant, and down the hallway, and into the spacious lobby. Laura may have marveled at how quiet it was compared to how they normally saw it.

There was a lone maid folding clothes in one corner by the fountain, and the only sound that could be heard was the quiet trickling of the fountain. There was a lot of room because Laura and Lychee were the only other ones in the lobby.

"Bonne nuit," Lychee mouthed to the maid. The maid stopped what she was doing and smiled at them. “Good evening,” she whispered.

Lychee walked into a tiled area by the fountain. "Here we are. That's better.”

The old man at the desk bowed his head as they walked in. "Good evening, my young guests," he whispered. “May I kindly remind you to stay quiet? This is our quiet time, and many of our guests are asleep at this hour.”

“Oh, o-of course.” Lychee nodded. “Sorry about that."

(Just a heads up, I won't be very active in the next two weeks. Maybe the battle, but that's it. )

"In that case it's a good thing I didn't bring some rediculously heavy pokemon that would make a whole bunch of racket." She snickered softly. "So, are you ready now or what?"

"Um... yeah." Lychee showed the slightest bit of hesitation in their voice.

Suddenly Lychee's eyes narrowed into their best game face. "Alllll right then. Let's get this show on the road." They pulled out their Poke Ball, and windmilled their arm around in a circle like they were gearing up to throw a baseball, and chucked it across the room.

From a distance, the sound of glass of glass breaking could be heard, along with a faint scream.

They paused. "Er-- how do you throw a Poke Ball again?"

Laura winced, and ran across the room to retrive it. "Sorry! I can pay for that later! And clean up too!" She came back and turned to Lychee. "You throw it on the ground to where the button hits against the floor. If you did it right, you've got your pokemon, and the ball will bounce back into your hand. Got it?"

A small tear slid out of it's tightly closed left eye. It was dreaming of someone precious, someone lost.

Lychee stared at Laura foreignly. "I... don't really learn from explanation. Could you just... literally move my hand in the direction it's supposed to go? I can learn it that way."

Lychee looked embarassed. "Sorry... Otherwise it's just gonna take forever."
