Aboot.....but not quite "aboot"....for "about."

Ice hockey, of course. I grew up not really thinking of it as a "Canadian" sport, though. The New York Rangers were very popular in NYC. A little later, I realized that almost all of the players (in the early 70s) were Canadians. Kids played roller hockey in NYC.

I probably would have liked "Hockey Night in Canada" had I been Canadian.

As much as I despise YouTube, there may be found an occasional gem for entertainment purposes only!

Ursus americanus kermodei (The Kermode Bear or Spirit Bear). It is a subspecies of The American Blackbear (Ursus americanus), and it is only found in Canada.

Not only are they only found in Canada, but Also only on a few small islands on the Haida Gwaii aka the Queen Charlotte Islands, which is a World Heritage Site with extremely limited travel allowed - something like only a maximum of 5,000 tourists allowed per year or something like that.

The exclusivity makes it extremely expensive to visit, but the beauty makes it worth it. If I ever go there I doubt it’ll be on a $10-20k yacht cruise, more likely I’ll connect with a local/workers and go live in some village for a month+ while taking boat tours with fishermen and divers. 8)
