What? The final battle music when the ugly version of Zeromus appears? It's called, rather imaginatively, The Last Battle, or Zeromus. Final Fantasy IV's music is considered to be one of the best overall.

As for being 'late-sixties adventure hero', well I noticed that on some Japanese anime (Dragonball and Dragonball Z), their music seems so out-of-date, even for their time. (The Dragonball theme sounded much earlier than the 1986 it debuted....)
