(OOC: Did Olive have something to do with that, or did you just figure that Foxy's had enough practice to be at level 17/18/whatever?
Guinan watched the evolution in awe. She wasn't expecting it. "That's beautiful!"
She laughed as Braixen took her spider weapon right out of her hand. "Well OK then, you can beat up all the spiders so I don't have to." The Braixen cried out, enthusiastically burning away the small spiders and webs with his newly made torch.
Looking down at her pokedex, she oohed and ahed at the psybeam move. "Yeah, I'll get rid of Tail Whip, doesn't really matter..." and then a particularly angry little hiss from a little spider under Braixen's assault made her look up. "Stop! Foxy!" she called. After a moment, the Braixen ignored the acid from the spider, turned, and made his way back to Guinan. To Olive, Guinan asked, "Are those small spiders there, will they be Ariados too, like the big one in my pokeball?"
"Yup." Olive grinned, her hands on her hips. "Pokemon evolution is pretty beautiful. It's pretty cool to see when all that training and stuff actually pays off."
She turned to Guinan with a smile. "That's one of the things I like about raising Pokemon. You get to see 'em grow and change along with you." She twirled a loop of hair behind your head. "It's, like... its own kind of journey, y'know?"
Guinan gave Olive a knowing smile, thinking of pets she had as a child. "That was my first Pokemon evolution. Wow!"

When Guinan agreed with her, Olive's expression actually became... dismayed for a second. There was a bit of silence between them for anyone spoke. Olive was staring at the floor.
"Uhm... I actually wanna be a Pokemon Breeder, if you can believe that," she said quietly.
Guinan nodded. She could definitely believe it. Olive went on:

"I wanna be able to do something to help someone, you know? But like, my mom and I don't really have the budget to house all of these creatures... And I feel kind of sorry for them 'cause I don't think I can properly take care of them here. That's why I'm stuck with this... kind of junky excuse for a house, because it's the only thing within my price range."
She grimaced. "But, I'm not sure if I'll ever have the money to open my own breeding facility. And at this point, I think it's kind of a pipe dream..."
Guinan nodded again, understanding now why Olive housed so many Pokemon. "You don't feel like you can care for them, and on the other hand, you can't let them go... don't want to let the dream go," Guinan replied thoughtfully.
(OOC: I'm curious what Olive would say here, if you want to have them continue the conversation a bit before...)

As if she was waking from a dream, Olive suddenly snapped out of her thoughts. "Oh my god, I'm sorry, I am so totally rambling!" she apologized.
She hadn't even answered Guinan's question yet. "That's Spinarak, it's the pre-evolution of Ariados, and it's everywhere! Yikes, and we still have to go the store to get the groceries!"
She threw her hands on her face as she realized what time it was. "Oh my god, we still have so much left to do!"
Guinan glanced at the clock: 8 PM. "OK, I'll go to the store," she said agreeably. "But I can't carry all that stuff on your list by myself."
