Thank you, Skilpadde. Yeah, this one-mile difference in location means a lot.

Haha, yeah, those 1,6 km shouldn't be taken lightly!

I'm closer to the wild now. No traffic noise, just birds in the morning. It's strange. And now it is a real possibility to spot a wolf from my window. Or a bobcat.

How is rural life treating you? I've never seen either in the wild (always been a city girl). I hope you'll tell us about it if you do spot one. Wildest thing I ever see was badgers and foxes.

I hope that if Krabo sees one he will post a photo for us.

I didn't know there were badgers outside of the UK. Lovely animals, but if your dog rolls in badger poo you know all about it, it's an awful smell. :?

@ enviro - yes, I got your messages, I am horribly behind on my correspondence at the moment, but I should be catching up over the next week. I will tell you all about it soon. :)

The European badger (Meles meles) is found all over Europe and even in the western parts of Asia. Yeah badgers are lovely indeed! I've only seen them a couple of times. Our second dog Viggo wasn't one for that, but our first dog Sissi rolled in any feces she saw if we didn't stop her in time. She bathed a lot!

Hey, I tell you what Krabo, you could simultaneously improve my Finnish and not upset Sylkat, by telling me the name of what you are eating in Finnish. :)

Tuesday I will take the test at the end of my Oppikirja Kappale Kolme, and hopefully move on to Kappale Neljä. Exciting stuff. 8)

Exciting! Promise to tell me how the test goes.

What I was eating was something innocent, namely, pyttipannu.
