Cool, I just went hunting for it too. Might have to dig 'last person to post wins' out of theh depths of the second page.

From memory I think I may have been the last person to post, although it may be wrong.

I'm getting to understand what you just said about 7am and reason.

Can't be perfect all the time.

It's a well known fact around here that it's not worth having a conversation with me until aft my second cup of tea of the morning. I have just finished my first, and it's too cold to want to get out of bed to make the second.

Now, that sounds trickier than the famous Prisoners' Dilemma.

Edit: Yes I know that there are three ins in that short sentence.

Very good. Compound sentences always give me trouble in my languages.

Most especially in things like "he told me that he doesn't like what she did".

I suspect I sound as if I have the intelligence of a particularly stupid 6 year old to my language exchange friends.

They don't think that way at all. At least not the Finnish person. S/he just cannot understand that someone as far away as New Zealand insists on learning Finnish.

I think my language exchange friends long ago accepted that I am crazy.

Eventually I have told them all about my Aspergers (I suspect one of the Italian girls I write to has it as well). Certainly my Finnish penpal was confused when I first told him I was learning Finnish for no reason except that it sounded amazing. He was like "but your husband must be Finnish.....you have Finnish friends.....you have at least been to Finland......? No?

There's no accounting for the crazy ideas I come up with.
