How do they test your abilities in university? Exams? Coursework? How?

<_<

Yeah, but has anyone here read the actual novels?

*Puts his hand up.*

What about Arby 'n' the Chief?

i've read the first Jurassic park just because I heard that it's alot different than the movie(the book normally ends up being better)

never heard of arby 'n' the thief though..

Yes, both of the two of them. The third movie wasn't based on a book, but the first two were.
I've read the novels and at one point the comic book versions too. Don't have them anymore, but as most things in my life, they've gone away.

Have you read Sphere? That was a good one as well.

Depends on your standardized test scores and the requirements of the particular college.

Not much of a Michael Crichton fan...

Subtract one point. Michael Crichton is awesome in my opinion.

Halo's a nice game, and I suppose the Flood could kill the dragons,
but that is not on the same level as Jurassic Park.

Arby 'n' the Chief. Lemme put it this way, if you like Zero Punctuation, you'd like Arby 'n' the Chief.

It's basically part machinima, part crudely animated action figures videos on YouTube. They follow the adventures of an expletive-happy, l33t-speaking Master Chief figurine (who sucks at playing Halo), and a rather more well-spoken Arbiter figurine.

I'd post them, but I think I'd be pushing it even with their predecessors, which were posted here, which was Master Chief Sucks at Halo.

I wont complain if you post it. Lemme ask you a question: would it be more or less offensive than if I were to post the complete movie of Event Horizon?

Yes. Besides copyright reasons, it is a horror movie, after all. I try to keep any videos posted to M15 rated at most (according to Australian OFLC standards. Most likely to be PG-13 to you).

BTW, just got the DVD of the original Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy TV series.

Meh. I'm not exactly a fan of any one author, with the possible exception of Terry Pratchett. If you asked me to pick the greatest American novelist of all time in my opinion, I'd choose Stephen King, or Frank Herbert.
