Emma looked curiously at Umbria. "What's Lilli making?"

Umbria shrugged. "I don't know! Whenever I asked, they were just like, 'It's a secret,' sooo....."

Suddenly a figure stumbled into the kitchen, with his hair in disarray, wearing a hoodie, rubbing his eyes sleepily.

"Morning...."

Umbria blinked. "Wait... Gristle?!"

As Gristle walked in, Emma stood up dumbfounded.
"Wait... Gristle?! Where were you?"

Kiki sipped their tea. "Ah, we visited another planet."

"You forgot to mention the part about nearly dying," Gristle grumbled.

Kiki took another sip of their tea. "Yeah, that too."

[^That made me laugh very much. ]

It then manifested something akin to a thin wire or cord, nearly invisible, vibrating pleasantly with pure energy, and held it out to Guinan. Am I doing it right? It turned to Laura. When a new being comes, you hand them instruments with which to gain nourishment, and then expect them to know how to use them, right? It smiled happily at Guinan. I so want to learn much about this realm, and how beings interact. But... Its ears drooped and looked back at Laura. Because I did not know how to use what you gave me, because I did not do the greeting the way you instructed, are you sad?

Laura panicked. "Thirty minutes?!" She placed her hands on both sides of her head. 'How am I even supposed to get the decorations done!?"
Kimmy blinked, checking the box before whispering in Lizzie's ear. "Go 25 miniutes from now and get the cake.
Okay?" Lizzie nodded and dissapeared in a bright flash of light.

"Nourishment?" Laura tilted her head. "Is Guinan supposed to eat it or something?"
She shook her head. "And no. You have to tell them. If she never even seen it before, how do you expect her to even know what it is?"
She shook her head. "Non, I'm not mad at all. It just gets très frustrating... and it just feels like I'm trying to teach a dense Preschooler how to battle who constantly keeps misunderstanding what I'm saying."

Where I exist, you use the energy to gain nourishment. It explained, holding up the shimmering cord. But you expected I to know how to eat the way you eat, even though I have never been here before, and became angry when I did not. Is that not how you greet new beings to this realm? It tilted its head, puzzled. If you came to where I exist, would you instantly know how to do things? If not, why expect I to know everything that you, a being living in this realm, know?

Umbria frowned. "Well we have to be there in thirty minutes, so we should be leaving in about fifteen minutes."

"Oh Acreus, I've got no time for debates space skitty!" Laura panicked, taking the freshly baked cake from Lizzie and painstakingly putting the icing on, trying to make it look as pretty as possible.

Giddily watching Laura, Kimmy leaned against the counter as Lucy squinted wt the wire in Guinan's hands. "What the heck even is that?" She asked.

What is an 'Arceus'? It then peered at the cake in interest, and touched Laura softly, alleviating and absorbing her anxiety. Some beings like I absorb light, and turn negative-ness into positiveness. It took the cord, which seemed to hum almost musically, and a wave of calmness seemed to pass over the room for an instant, and then was gone.

Laura looked over her shoulder, with an expression that seemed like a cross between glaring and smiling. "Thank you... I geuss." She backed away a few steps, apprasing her work. It was dark green and yellowish gold on the side, and candy triangles arranged into the shape of a Triforce.

"Well? What do ya think?" She asked with a grin. "It's a lot more simple than I wanted, but we're in a time crunch."

Yummy triangles. It commented, smiling sincerely.

"That's awesome!! !" Kiki gushed. Their eyes were sparkling. "I've never seen a cake like that!"

Laura looked confused. "Um, thank you..." "but it's not really that great. I've seen some that were wayy bigger and better decorated. I just hope that Lychee's gonna like it."

Umbria smiled. "But it's a really good cake," she said. "Knowing Lychee, they'll like it no matter what it is. Just the fact that you're making a cake for your friend is a really kind gesture."

“That kinda reminds me of that scene from one of those Harry Potter films,” Rose said, after seeing the Triforce cake Laura made, “When the big guy named Hagrid broke into the lighthouse where his Muggle family was staying, and presents him with a simple birthday cake with words written 'Happy Birthday, Harry!' He must have made that cake himself, that big guy.” Rose says this just as she finished eating those oddly-shaped pancakes. Then she said to Laura, "Don't feel to bad about it, Laura. As long as you do your best, it's the thought that counts."

Rose then responds to Dan, “I never thought of that, having Pokemon games that were once based on true stories. Where did you here about them?”

Dan then responded, “I read some articles from different magazines, featuring interviews from some former Pokemon trainers who were once Pokemon Champions themselves.”
