Guinan was curious about the space kitty. Those intelligent eyes. This was the first time she had perceived words and feelings. She wasn't sure what to make of this energy chord, so she attempted to touch it.

(OOC: What happens if she tries to touch it?

Also, since I suck at clothing descriptions, would someone mind helping? What's Guinan wearing? She originally had a purple robe that Q swapped for her pants suit, which was all stained. Maybe she's got a dress, and maybe she tries to enter the party with a newly purchased hat on.)

Guinan frowned. 'Yes well, I snuck in behind a whole family and their Pokemon. Somehow, no one noticed me until I was already in the store, so I just tried to hurry up before they kicked me out." She chuckled. "Oh yes, the repairs were a problem. They held us all up. But I got a battle out of it. Foxy versus Poplio."

When she walked into the party earlier, Guinan wore a blue dress with tights and blue ballet flats.
She also had a newly purchased beret, which was nothing like her old hat but still had the same shape. "Wow, Guinan, you look really nice," Umbria commented.

"So, uh, what are we going to do?" Lychee asked as they came out of the kitchen. "...Besides stand."

They turned slightly red. "I... I was thinking we could watch a movie..."

"What movie?" Emma asked.

"It's called the Zombie Massacre!" Lychee gushed. They seemed... really, really excited about it. They held up a DVD which had a picture of a zombie man wielding a giant hammer, chasing after a group of screaming people.

Kiki turned over the DVD to the back cover. 'Rated R for blood and violence.'

Kiki raised an eyebrow.
"Uhm... how about something else?" Kiki said.

Lychee's eyes turned to watery saucers. "Awww, seriously?" They seemed like a heartbroken puppy. If they were any younger, Kiki might have felt seriously bad for them.

"Wow, two birthday cakes," Dan said, "I remember going to a birthday party where they had three!"

Dan then started to have cravings for the two cakes, but doesn't want to spoil his appitite. He then walked to the living room were everyone was deciding what they should do, like watch a movie.

"Hey, do you like have a Wii or something?" Dan asked Lychee, "And play like Mario Kart or Super Smash Brothers?"

"That's a pretty good idea," Rose agreed, "That way it's something that we can all do together."

Lychee suddenly turned over to the giant DVD shelf and began shuffling through all of them.
"I have a giant collection of indie horror films!" they squeed. "Which one do you wanna watch?"

"How about.... none." Umbri muttered.

"Yeah, we do have a Wii!" Lychee chirped in response to Dan. "I think it's got Mario Kart!"

They walked over to the sitting room area and picked up a game case off of the side table. Then they knelt down and turned on the Wii.
"Hey, could you help me get this set up?" they asked Dan.

“Sure,” Dan responded to Lychee, and then Dan helped set up the Wii for the living room.

“Say, how many controllers do you have?”, Dan asked.

Gristle came over. "Hey, could I play with you and Lychee?" he asked Dan.
"Four." Lychee said. They looked over. "Hey Laura, do you wanna play?"

“Sure, you can join,” Dan responded to Gristle.

“Um,” Dan continued, “We can have up to four players at a time, so we not only need one more player, but also need to take turns. So, anyone else want to play?”

"Thanks," Guinan responded. "I got lucky to find my dress so fast. They really wanted to throw me out, but I grabbed two dresses and showed my money. They weren't going to say no to me then." She smiled.

Guinan might have been amused to watch the quaint genre of zombi fiction. She was happy enough to go along with the game plans though. "So Lychee, it's fun that you got two parties in a row."

[Sorry for the late reply; I missed this bit.]

It looked up at Guinan playfully, and once more offered her the cord, which was still humming pleasantly, akin to the vibrations left after a stringed instrument is bowed.
You have come far and now you are here. You see what others do not.

[Touching it would probably be like suddenly getting a burst of energy after eating or drinking.]

It then let Guinan hold the cord, and watched curiously as Dan and the others set up the Wii.

"Yeah," Lychee replied. "I didn't
even think it'd turn out that way.

They looked away shyly and grinned. "...I'm homeschooled, and Lavender Town is just a bunch of old people, so I don't really get a chance to hang out with other kids. It... makes me happy that you could come."

Somehow, despite the fact that they were smiling, their tone seemed... sad.

Umbria looked at them with concern. "Lychee... are you okay?"

A tear was welling up in Lychee's eye, but they wiped it out of their face. "...Nah, I'm fine."

Guinan sighed contentedly, feeling the energy flow through her. "I feel good! Refreshed all of a sudden. I appreciate that."

Later, with Lychee, Guinan nodded sympathetically. "Tough to make friends when there's nobody around," she affirmed.

(OOC: Did Mike come back from the other universe with Gristle and Kiki? If so, Guinan could hand him the cord if Space Kitty gave permission. Mike might want to study it.)

You can share the energy with others if they need more. It smiled slightly, and then asked Guinan: Have you visited other planets and stars? Have you ever danced in their light?

"I've traveled to other stars. I wasn't born here. But I haven't danced by starlight in a long time," Guinan replied, a twinkle in her eye.

I do not know where I was born. It looked down at its claws as if contemplating what sort of beings gave birth to it. I have traveled so far, but none of the stars or planets I explore seem like home.
