Why not? I've had kangaroo. It's just like a tougher form of beef.

You've eaten a kangaroo?! !! !

Kangaroo meat. Well, a steak to be precise. I didn't exactly go out and shoot one.

Does kangaroo meat taste like chicken?

You can buy kangaroo meat in the supermarkets here, Shadesy. I've also been to restaurants where they serve a bush-meat platter with kangaroo, emu, camel and crocodile (as well as the witchetty grubs). Crocodile is excellent, tastes a lot like lobster tail, delicious with garlic & butter sauce. Emu, nothing to write home about. Except!! ! If you try emu AND kangaroo, then you can say you've eaten both the animals on the Australian coat of arms. :D

I had a piece of alligator a long long time ago. How about buffalo? Do they make kangaroo burgers? I've had buffalo burgers, so yummy. witchetty grubs don't look or sound too pleasant.

I've tried venison and moose, but have not (to my knowledge) eaten buffalo.
Kangaroo meat is a popular and cheap petfood ingredient here. I imagine
that you could buy kangaroo mince (i.e. ground meat) and make your own
burgers, if you wanted. Anyone who has eaten sausages or meat pies in
Australia over the past few decades has probably eaten quite a wide variety
of animal species without realising it.

Edit: format

I'd like to know what kind of meat i'm eating before I eat it. For example, if I found Out I was eating cat or dog, i'd be disgusted saddened and depressed.
