Anthony Perkins was well-known to be gay during his early years on Broadway and in films.

That changed when he made 'Judge Roy Bean' and met Victoria Principal.

The relationship ended when the filming completed, he dated a few more women, then met, fell for, and married 'Berry' Berenson, journalist, charming person, and sister of gorgeous, famous Marissa Berenson, model and actress.

There were occasional rumors that Anthony had rare, secret trysts whith attractive young actors, but they were rumors only....nothing was ever proven, and published 'expose's' were always retracted and apologies printed.

When he was hospitalized, a hospital employee sold medical information (illegally obtained, of course) to a tabloid, proving that he was being treated for AIDS.

He died of the disease in 1992, leaving his wife and two sons heartbroken.

Just nine years later, she died, helpless, and terrified, as a passenger in one of the planes that was hijacked and flown into the World Trade Center.

Rather than use CGI, Tim Burton had 40 squirrels trained to crack nuts for "Charlie & The Chocolate Factory". (WHAT!?!? LOL)

Gene a Wilder, the original Willy Wonka, was furious that 'Charlie And The Chocolate Factory' was remade.

And quite hurt.

First Billie Whitelaw, the splendid, the one and only Mrs. Blaylock, who scared the living daylights out of me, now Joe Cocker......

This is really too,too much.

We are left with the Rihannas and Brittnys of 'music'.

Not to mention Justin Bieber...and let's not.

RIP Irreplaceable Billie, and inimitable Joe.

Roald Dahl, the author of Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, absolutely hated willy wonka and the chocolate factory to the point where he forbade that a sequel, based off of Charlie And The Great Glass Elevator, be made and as one who's read the book I really can't blame him.

I think Mrs Baylock's dog was scarier than her. So were all the dogs in the film, come to think of it.

I've read incidentally that in the cemetery scene in The Omen, the dog-handlers are momentarily visible if you pay close attention, though I've clearly never been paying quite enough attention...

And vile little Damien's mother was actually a type of dog, was she not?

A dingo or some sort of wild dog buried in that grave.........

Great movie!

Due to a zipper breaking, Olivia Newton-John had to be sewn into the trousers she wears in the last carnival scene of Grease.

Whatever happened with her?

She was doing great; records, tours, films, a clothing line, then she just......

Stopped.

Never figured that out.

She ended-up with some guy, and something happened to him. I can't remember if he went missing, or killed somebody, or something----so, she spent alot of time recovering from all that drama. She's been fairly active, recently..... Seems to be she released another album, or something..... Then, if I remember correctly, she was involved in something on Broadway, I think----oh, when they were casting "Grease", on Broadway, I think.

When, when, when will women stop ruining their careers for some dumb man?

Carrol Baker, Sally Struthers, Susan St. James, Olivia, and scores more......just so infuriating!

Alice Cooper and Salvadore Dali were fans of each other and really 'clicked' when they met.

Dali was inspired creatively by Alice and did a hologram sculpture of Alice, rainbow-colored and wearing two million dollars worth of jewelry.

John Astin, who played Gomez on The Addams Family, was originally hired to play Lurch. He was reassigned when the producers realized how wrong he was for the part.

The Addams family house was located on Adams Street. Really.

The interior of the Addams family house was colored pink. The color was chosen because of how well it photographed in black and white.

Ted Cassidy, who played Lurch, also played Thing, except on rare occasions in which Lurch and Thing were on-screen together.

In the original comics by Charles Addams, Thing is a small but full-bodied person. He's very shy and his entire body is never shown since he's always hiding behind something. In one comic, his hand is seen reaching out from inside a record player cabinet, and this inspired the producers of the TV show to make Thing a disembodied hand.

The Addams family characters had no names in the original comics. Charles Addams was asked to provide names when the TV show went into production. All of his names were accepted, with one exception: Pubert became Pugsley. The name Pubert was eventually used in the film Addams Family Values when Gomez and Morticia have another baby.

The Addams Family premiered the same week as The Munsters, and both shows were also cancelled the same week.

Ted Cassidy's body was cremated after his death, and supposedly, his urn was buried in his back yard by his family.

Also supposedly, when the house was sold, years later, the family did not dig up the urn.

Information came from 'Findadeath', and absolutely delicious website full of gossip you cannot find anywhere else.
