It wandered around the room aimlessly, making the spoon flip over and over and fly quickly in circles.

Guinan nodded as Mars described what seemed to her a pleasant enough place to live, and then Lucy asked her question. Guinan smiled at the girl. When Space Kitty made the spoon levitate, Guinan said to Lucy, "If you want to fly or float in the air, hmm, between Laura, the Pokemon, and... our new friend here," she points to Space Kitty, "it could probably happen."

Lilli slowly lifted up from their seat and shuffled over to where the new guy was. They didn't really like crowds, but this area was starting to get particularly crowded.

They looked up at the new guy. He was certainly interesting. He towered over the rest of them, and he had brown hair with a bright green beard. He was kind of grizzled-looking, and he had a leather jacket and a beat-up looking outfit. He seemed like a kind-of hardened individual. He also had a mechanical hand and eye. He certainly looked like a guy who had been places. But it didn't give them a particularly good feeling.

They have no idea of what he's doing here or what his intentions here. They didn't think it was a good idea to just trust every stranger that walked in through your door, and that's what everyone had been doing. He said it was because of an accident, but what if he really was a criminal? What then?

They came up and looked up at him, raising an eyebrow. "Um, first off, what are you doing here? Not to be rude, but it seems awfully strange of you to just come in here and barge in without invitation. And how'd you even get in?"

Mars looks rather confused. "90% male and 10% female? So does this make the fact that you are being all flirty with me 90% gay? I'm confused, this is bound to be an interesting story."

He hesitates for a moment. "I don't say my name much because of the whole being wanted thing but considering we are on a different planet and all it should be fine, just don't go calling me by it all the time or anything." He leans closer and keeps his voice down in an attempt to avoid being heard by anyone else. "My full name is Jason Cornell but people call me Jay, or at least they used to."

Another look of confusion passes Mars' face. "Wait, human form? Are you saying you are some kind of shapeshifter?"

Mars replies "As I said earlier I am here because I was looking for Mike because of the whole orbital gunship looming overhead thing and I found him by tracking the transceiver on his robotic arm. As for how I got in, ..." He reaches into his pocket and takes out three paperclips that were bent into the shapes of various lock picking tools. "The locks here are just as easy to pick as the ones on Mars. You would have a hard time finding a scavenger worth his salt who doesn't know how to pick locks."

(It should be noted that there were a few inaccuracies in that description. First of all it's his hair that is green and his goatee is brown instead of the other way around and I know that I worded it rather ambiguously when I had Mars look at Mike's robotic arm to verify what universe he is from the only prosthetic Mars has is the eye.)

Lilli's eyes practically turned to stars. "Haha, cool! Can you show me how?"

"Of course, typically doors aren't a problem for me, since I can just teleport through them.... They extended a hand. "Well anyway, nice to meetcha, sir! I'm Lilli."

They jumped in the air. "Ah, yes! I was thinking of setting up my delicious 'beverages station' in the kitchen... if you would like to help me with that, Guinan!"

It's left ear twitched surreptitiously. Someone is coming...no...two someones.

“Wow, I didn't know you were such a lock-picker,” Dan said when Mars was holding the key-shaped paperclips. “Now, about Team Eon....?”

Rose was playing as Princess Daisy in Mario Kart Wii. When she was finished with her race, she glanced at Space Kitty, who looked fully alert as if it was sensing danger. Rose then asked Space Kitty, “You look pretty tense, Space Kitty. Is everything alright?”

Mars shakes Lilli's hand and says "Hello ... Sir? Mam? ... Kid? I give up... Yeah, I could teach you to pick locks if you want. Pin and tumbler locks like the one on this house are quite easy and a great way to get into lock picking, it's the combination locks and the electronic locks that take a bit more skill and it definitely helps to have the ability to see X-rays." He gestures to his prosthetic eye not-so-subtle way. When Lilli mentioned the beverage station he says "I could certainly go for a drink right now, let me know if you have anything with caffeine."

Calem chuckled. "That does seem like it would come in handy every once and a while..." he trailed off, but sheugged. "Meh, it seems like you already have your hands full with those two."

"Sure Lilli, I'll help," Guinan said amiably. She will follow Lilli into the kitchen whenever Lilli is ready. Meanwhile, Guinan silently berated herself for not having heard Mars pick the lock earlier.

"90% gay?" Ki chuckled at what Mars said. "Nah, I think that would be called a hermaphrodite. ...I'm not even sure what it's called when a hermaphrodite likes dudes. Or girls. Is there a word for that? In any case, I'm bi, so..."

"Cool," Ki grinned. Their voice became extremely quiet as well. "Nice to meet you, Jason Cornell."

'Shapeshifter?" Ki seemed amused at the prospect. "Nahhh, I wish. Being a shapehifter would be suh-weet. Heh." They gestured with their head over toward Gristle. "That shapeshifter's pretty cute, but I'm pretty sure he's not single..."

Ki's eyebrows creased together at what Mars said. "Well... not quite. I guess I'm closer to what most humans would call an angel, but I don't really have any memories of my past life. That's kinda unusual for my kind."

They tilted their head. Was he following them? They didn't want to overwhelm him with information the moment they met him. He seemed to be a fairly open-minded guy, though.

"I'm basically a god's errand-doer, so I have to travel around the universe. Normally we don't travel outside of my own universe, but there are some exceptions. I'm a different species than you all, so in that case the god casts kind of an illusion thing to make us blend in." They grinned, a slight gleam in their eye. "After all, it'd be kinda weird if you had mmm... gray-skinned, yellow-eyed hunks walkin' around?"

Ki blinked after that was all over. They held up their hand. "....Okay. I know it just sounds like I'm some person talkin' crazy, but you gotta believe me."

"Well, I'm strait but bi-curious enough to not be too strict about it." says Mars.

After Ki finishes mentioning that Gristle is a shapeshifter and that they are not entirely human Mars looks rather shocked. "Uhh... OK, I can see why multiverse explorers always say that they have learned to not be surprised by anything." Small clicking sounds come from his prosthetic eye as it mechanically switches out cameras to see Ki from a series of different wavelengths in an attempt to find evidence of an illusion. (You'll have to tell me if he sees anything unusual like a weird bone structure or an unusual amount of body heat or something.)

Mike looks rather surprised as well at some of that information.

It blinked twice at Rose's words, but then softly wandered closer and started sniffing Kiki, as if trying to figure out whether they smelled like other planets or something. It then briefly looked over at the door as if anticipating something.

Lilli had set up a bunch of different kinds of fruits up on the counter, in rows so that it looked like an arrangement at a bar or a restaurant. They also had ice cream... on the counter... and whipped cream?

Kiki was hauling in more ingredients, and Lilli was arranging them. Finally, Lilli had dragged in a food processor and was fixing to plug it in.

"HI!" Lilli's eyes sparkled as they turned around and saw Guinan walk into the kitchen. They linked their hands with hers, looking sparkly. "I am going to need a LOT of help to get this stuff done!"

"Keeks, go ahead and heat up the chocolate syrup," they ordered Ki without looking back, "We're gonna need that to be hot!" Ki went ahead and put the bottle of chocolate syrup in the microwave. They turned around and shoved a basket full of raspberries into Guinan's hands. "I am going to need you to blend all of these."

Lilli's eyes turned to stars again. "But... you're a bartender, right?! Do you think, if I showed you how to make my famed Lava Smoothie, that you might be able to replicate it?!"
