York (a city in the North) and Hampshire (a county in the South) are both in the UK, and Jersey is an island between England and France. I always wanted to go there, but never made it.

New South Wales is in Australia, old South Wales is in, well, South Wales. Knowing the North Welsh, they probably didn't move anywhere in order to name somewhere 'new'.

Do you know, the Moomin books are very vague on the somersaulting abilities of each character?

A bit of a gap in the books, I feel. Actually I am due to change my avatar, but I haven't been near a PC in ages.
