I seem to remember the program was either animation or advanced puppetry. It was slightly surreal. It wasn't that long ago, maybe ten / fifteen years. Only saw bits of it, but it had a certain fascination.

No. You may not win, I may not win. We all cannot win. Tetris is the only option. If one were to translate that, ultimately, there is no victory. Only reaching the top of the screen and losing. Or having your score get too high, and therefore unable to be tracked, making the point of score moot.
